Location was excellent. Hotel reception staff very nice. The hotel was quiet.

No shower curtain. The breakfast was not very good. The air conditioner was noisy and ineffective.

The location was really perfect... The mature man at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily.

The rooms are really small and all the furniture is old. It's impossible to open the room door without closing the bathroom door. The bathroom faucet is so short you can't even put your hand under it. You can easily hear sounds between the rooms.

Best location .. cordial friendly service.. at a good price ...Ill return

I have difficulties going up the stairs to be able to take elevator

The location is excellent, close to 2 main squares, the river side, shopping, and not far from the old city.

Access to elevator was up a flight of 25 very steep steps, difficult if carrying luggage. Accessing the breakfast room was via additional even steeper steps. Breakfast items were good but basic, could have been augmented by cereals or eggs.

The location was excellent, extremely central. While the building was a little old, everything was very clean. The staff were friendly.

It's a detail, but there was no kettle in the room.

A very central hotel with a charming old-style atmosphere. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The rooms are simple but have very comfortable beds.

Be aware that the rooms can be quite noisy, and the elevator starts only from the first floor. The breakfast room is two floors below ground level and not accessible by elevator.

Just would have wished for feather pillows.. pillows were somewhat hard!

Centrally located to many of Lyon’s beautiful and historic sites.

The staff was accommodating and overall clean, comfortable and central. Appreciated the luggage storage while we waited for our room and flight out.

The hotel took a payment for the room from me upon arrival. I later noticed that Booking.com had already taken a payment from me. The hotel did refund the additional payment, though should never have proceeded to take payment without first checking with Booking.

The hotel is very well located - you can easily reach it on foot from the railway station. The building has an elevator, which is very convenient. The gentleman at the reception was extremely kind and hospitable.The room was a bit old but clean and perfectly fine for a short stay.

Location was perfect. It is in the middle of much of what is happening in Lyon. Lots of shops and restaurants.

The reception is a bit odd. The desk attendant is in an area below the desk, and appears when someone comes in. Also, you have to take your luggage up a set of stairs to take an elevator to your room. Even with these small issues, I think the hotel is an overall good value due to the room itself, the location of the hotel, etc.

Rooms too small

Very friendly staff, so nice to be welcomed in person rather than figuring out codes and searching for rooms using a long list of instructions! Very flexible and allowed us to stow our bikes inside. Great location, very central yet totally quiet.

Great location close to Bellecour metro station. Friendly and helpful staff. Standard French breakfast is optional with bread, croissant, butter, spreads, yogurt, juice and tea or coffee. Narrow lift starts from the first level above ground floor, so might be tricky if you have lots of luggage (so request a lower floor for your room). For a 2 star hotel, I was very happy.

The bathroom facilities were a bit old, but everything worked OK, and it was clean.

Excellent location, couldn't be better! Basic and modest room, but very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
