Clean and comfortable with fabulous, friendly staff

A room with a nice view and a comfy bed.The staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was very warm and the aircon was not working, though it sounded like it was. The hotel was next to a very busy road, so it was not possible to leave the window open to get some fresh air, due to the traffic noise and pollution. The breakfast was very average.

Nice and clean hotel in a quiet area. Very good breakfast. Relatively quick connection to the main train station Part-Dieu, to the center and to most of the sights.

I did not like anything unfortunately

The person at the reception was not helpful nor kind. The room had the most puzzling decoration. I had a huge portrait of Woody Allen towering over my bed. The only thing worse would have been Roman Polanski. Asked kindly to exchange rooms as soon as I entered but was denied. Even the breakfast (that I usually love at ibis hotels) was lackluster. The location is far from everything and inconvenient Anyway very unpleasant experience

- Great staff - they even gave us a river facing room upon request.- Great breakfast spread.

- Location was near a tram station, however, Lyon has a connectivity problem. Their trams and trains are all not optimally timed which makes it difficult to get around the city.

This was a great find on the booking.com site as I didn’t know much about Lyon. Property located in a neighborhood area that’s just a short 13 minute walk from the huge shopping center La Confluence. While it felt a little like an upscaled hostel at first, I was pleasantly surprised with the room. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and plenary of space for my suitcases. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of choices. They had the best coffee in Lyon.The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast staff were also very friendly. They all deserved an A plus for great customer service

No amenities in the room (just soap no shampoo etc) but that’s listed on the site.

Food was fine, staff attentive.

The location of a room on the street is awful, extremely loud if one opens the window. I would not book again for this reason.

The hotel it self was lovely The person at seat was very helpful Didn’t care for waitress wanted lunch , didn’t seem to want to wait on us so we left couldn’t read menu , nothing in English. However the breakfast blew us away Location was a bit scary , didn’t fell comfortable walking anywhere. For that reason would not recommend this hotel to other travelers!

I really liked the location and it was very easy to find. There is plenty to see within walking distance of the hotel and a really nice shopping center roughly a 15 minute walk away with a cool water canal. The Tram is a few blocks away, an easy walk.

The location is truly great if you plan to visit other nearby towns with a bus. Also, city’s centre is reachable very easily. The breakfast was really good. Maybe not the widest sortiment, but very tasty (except coffee). Even with open window it was pretty quiet in the room, couldn’t hear neighbours through the walls.

Pillow was quite uncomfortable and there was only one blanket in a double bed-if you are not used to it, can be annoying. Also hair dryer a bit weak. There was a situation when we hanged “Do not disturb” on our door handle, so the maid wouldn’t come into the room, but it was not respected.

unfortunately my room did not have a great view, but i do understand that it is not always possible for all rooms to have great vies

The room was basic, quiet and what you would expect from Ibis, breakfast was basic although sufficient to start the day
