Pros +
- clean and reasonable prices, kitchenette availability
- The accommodations in the room were great for extended stay. The food was a great selection of authentic traditional French food.
- A 10 minute walk from the front of the train station, or less if you walk the length of the station inside before exiting from a side entrance. Room was clean and comfortable, but oddly smelled of cabbage the entire time!Washing machine is available upon request for very reasonable price, but you have to be around to remove your clothes/dry them etc, which can be time consuming.
Cons -
- not much
- No smart TV so no Netflix, which meant no TV, as our French is not good enough to watch dubbed or local shows. One of the hot plates did not heat the buckled frying pan, so we had to switch methods after waiting 30 minutes for the frying pan to cook sausages (we ended up using a smaller saucepan on the other hot plate).
- A second luggage rack would be nice.

The hotel is a 5-min walk from the Gare Part-Dieu train station and trams, buses, etc. Short walk to many stores (Monoprix, and a huge Carrefour) and Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse. There was plenty of room in our apartment. The facility is a bit dated - a few marks on the walls, a stained kitchen counter - but that's why it's more affordable than many other places. We appreciated the clothes drying rack. Breakfast was good.
A second luggage rack would be nice.
Staff was unpleasant and uncooperative
Uncomfortable, the room odor was unpleasant (sewage odor), staff unpleasant
The location was OK, 20 min from city center by bus.
The room was not clean and not well maintained, a little oldish, not matching the photos. We asked for a baby crib and it was very uncomfortable and unstable and they did not have a blanket for the baby.
Good location . Transport easy. Room calm and clean.
The moment I checked out.
The AC was broken and the front desk said the repairman didn't want to fix it. It was over 90 degrees in the room that night. I only booked the hotel for the fact it had AC. I checked out the next day, one day early and requested a refund. The hotel hasn't responded. The room was on the 5th floor and the elevator was broken. What a "sh_ _ show". Booking couldn't resolve it either. Just disappointed.I would stay away from this hotel if possible.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. We didn't use any of the kitchen facilities but we had them so I suppose it is good for people staying longer.
1) We paid nearly 40 EUR for a breakfast and there was nothing to eat at 8:30. No croissants available, 1/2 baguette left for 4 tables. People were waiting for any food to be served. Boiled eggs (with machine that you have to wait 25 minutes to boil 4 eggs at total, so what about the remaining people in the room then?), fresh and dried fruits, cereal, some cheese and slices of salami and ham - this was OK. For such a price, you can have a real breakfast somewhere else close.2) Parking - there were no available parking slots when we arrived. So most probably you have to ask if they will have before to book/arrive, in case this is important for you. The reception team told us that there are free parking spaces at the train station, but for us (with 2 small kids and lots of luggage) was not a good idea. Bear in mind about that too.
Located near the central train station. Good breakfast. Comfortable bad. All was good in bathroom. TV worked fine.
One absolutely weird thing I experienced for the first time: there were two horizontal planks next to the window from where you can feel very intensive flow of cold air (it was minus outside). I had to suppress it with what I had in hands.
The location and space of room
The room was poorly equipped. AC didn't work. No room services. Bathroom was poorly fitted. A very unmaintained vibe.
There is a large shopping center and Galeries Lafayette nearby, close to the train station and this can be convenient.
The hotel's proximity to the train station, the mall and public transportation, being able to cook my own meals and hang out, turning the temperature up in the he room because it was cold outside, the friendly staff, comfy bed and hot shower.
The window was big and could be opened but the view wasn't that great (part of the main street and on office building) but this was not a deal breaker for me.
Bed in the real room, small kitchen with coffee machine, tea bags from Palais des Thes !
The smell in the room: like drains or very very cheap clean productsThe sofa bed : not comfortable for several nights in a raw and the organisation of the space as it is open.
Value for money. I would recommend it only for 1-2 days trip.Room Ok, bed was more than ok, amenities old- not well maintained.Very close to the train station and to public transportation. We paid 65€ for an overnight stay and I would recommend it only for such a price.Anything else would be you overpaying an only decent place.
Not the cleanest that you can find. I think the issue is that they are not maintaining the whole thing properly
The booking photos are charming, but room number408 is disgusting.
The room number 408 was dirty, the carpet had stains and a disgusting smell. Dirty curtains and windows, Dust on the shelves of the closet.
It's not modern, but very clean. I slept very well, the noise coming from the train station didn't bothered me. They are eco friendly, therefore the reusage of towels, the air conditioner until 19 degrees Celsius and cleaners coming only when required, are some rules imposed. You should clean the kitchen area yourself and maintain the apartment organised the way you found it. Quick check in/out and lovely people compose the staff team. They allowed me to go to my room at 12:00 because it was free and ready. It helped me greatly - The check in is from 14:00. I would come back again
Cleaness, parking
Smell, broken elevator
The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The facilities were decent overall. The staff were excellent. It was nice!
The location isn't the best, but it is conveniently near the station. There were also no mugs/cups in the kitchen cupboard - just small espresso cups.
Close to train station.
The interior was dated and quite shabby.
