The location for us was great.

They put us in a handicapped room. The room itself was spacious comfortable and clean, but the bathroom was horrible . An open shower, a toilet and a sink. Absolutely nowhere to put anything, not even a towel!The grouting in the bottom of the shower was black, not inviting at all. The parking (payant) you had to go to the main hotel to get an elevator or go outside and walk down to the parking.Disappointed…

While the property carries a 4-star rating, the overall experience aligns more closely with a 3-star offering. The hotel’s facilities, particularly the rooms and breakfast area, feel dated and would benefit from a thoughtful refurbishment to bring them up to modern expectations.Service delivery was inconsistent. A more welcoming and customer-centric approach from the staff would significantly enhance the guest experience. At check-in, I was unexpectedly asked to authorise an additional €100 per night. No clear justification was provided beyond a vague comment about ensuring guests have sufficient funds, which did not inspire confidence.Breakfast was adequate but unremarkable. It does the job, but it doesn’t elevate the stay in any meaningful way.Given the overall condition of the hotel and the level of service provided, the price-to-value ratio falls below par. With some investment and a renewed focus on hospitality, the hotel could more credibly deliver on its stated star rating.

Location is good. Calm part of Lyon. Lovely location by the river. Bed comfortable.

It’s a bit dated. My bathroom sink had wear and tear.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. The spa was nice, with good indoor and outdoor pool and different saunas.

The spa had very good facilities, however not all were functioning. This was not a problem on one of the days, but on the second one this made a difference as the spa was quite crowded. We were unable to book massages - when we tried to contact the spa in advance of the trip we received no reply, and then there was no availability. This was unfortunate as the main reason to book this hotel was the spa and the availability of different treatments. Without the spa, the price seems a bit expensive as the room was a bit dated and the location could be closer to the city centre.

Pretty good spa facilities overall.

A bit overly zealous in rules enforcement. First, we arrived at 10:30 and there was nothing to eat the restourant was closed, so we got pizza and tried to eat it with some drinks at the bar, since it was the only working venue. We were told that it is forbidden so fine, so we ate it in the room.The next day, after sightseeing the whole day, we went to the pool before closing and got some drinks. We left the glasses at the lobby just outside the indoor pool. We didn't bring them into the actual pool zone. Never mind, we were basically chased to return the glasses to the outside pool bar. The third thing was the small puddle of water before the main pool. We used the sleepers that were provided in the room to go to the pool, but again, we were immediately warned not to use them and take them off when going through the puddle.So the 3 situations were not particularly bad, but it looks more comic to try to enforce so strict rules in place for relaxation.

Carpark now occupied by ev recharge.Had to wait for a space in one of the few non ev spaces left.

Big and clean studio , good bedding and calm

The spa is average and somehow dirty as people are throwing there used towels everywhere have been there a the end of the day and it was like crap everywhere. The people doesn’t respect clean rules and staff let them do. Outdoor hot bath tops small and you need to queue to enjoy 5 min before other users come push you to go.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The selection of pools/ spa facilities was fantastic.

We struggled to find our way around and the room was a bit basic. Breakfast was rather soulless. We were disappointed to learn the rules on swim wear which meant altho we paid the premium to use the spa, half of our party were unable to do so. I am still struggling to find anywhere that advised us on the rules on this prior to our visits. The cost that we paid for the room included use of the pools but I’d struggle to justify this expense.
