    Pros +

    • The hotel were courteous and helpful and went beyond the call of duty to help a bike traveler with his laundry. Though it may not have cost the staff much time, their help saved me hours that I was able to users toward readying for an extended bike tour.
    • Location was great. The room for the money was very nice. The breakfast fare was very good, only drawback was the somewhat cramped breakfast space. That was actually the only somewhat negative aspect of the stay. The staff was great and the bed was very comfy.
    • Nice room, spacious enough, great location, nice patio, luggage storage service, super polite and helpful staff, overall a great experience

    Cons -

    • The breakfast space, a little cramped. The breakfast offering itself was very good.
    • I stayed during the busiest week of the year, so prices were (everywhere) much higher than usual.
    • Electric toilets, no accessible plug for charging phone close to the bed

The location is good, but the place itself feels quite old-school and a bit unusual. Our room was directly next to the patio, and the window opened right onto the veranda. Other guests would sit down right under our window to smoke or talk — basically one centimeter from the window, which is about half a meter from the bed. It felt quite strange and uncomfortable. There is very strong noise from the patio area: every time someone goes out to smoke — which happens throughout the day and half the night — the door keeps opening and slamming shut. All the rooms located next to the patio (four or five of them) will definitely hear everything. On the positive side, in the middle of the night it was quiet, since there’s no street noise, and despite everything, I did manage to sleep well — and that’s the most important part of a hotel stay.I should also mention that the room wasn’t very clean: there were some hairs on the floor, and overall it felt a bit poorly maintained. We checked in as two people but were given only one towel. That said, I don’t have anything terrible to say — it’s a three-star hotel, and it’s more or less what you would expect.

    Central hôtel.

Bathroom tiles were dirty and in the shower, a lot of black mold.

Excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast with local specialties. Close to city center and park.

Small room. I did travel alone and therefore it wasn’t so bad but the bed was small and the window facing towards where the other guets would smoke. You can also hear other guets coming and leaving.

Very polite, friendly and helpful staff (we've seen 3 different people on reception during out stays). The location of the hotel is perfect: metro station Foch is very accessible from the airport, and it is very easy to explore the city from there. A few very good restaurants are nearby, and a grocery store is in an adjacent entrance. The room itself is small, but it has all necessary things, so if you are just to sleep, or to lay on a comfortable bed, then it is a perfect place to do that.

    friendly staff. comfy bed.

Cigarette smoke comes in through the window that opens into the patio. The door in the corridor right outside the room is quite noisy.

Location.Receptionist and service at breakfast.Parking spots available in the streets and free at night.

Very small room and bathroom.Accessibility is limited.Old cold room. I was offered an electric heater as a solution option. No lift but original medieval stairs though.

I was particularly impressed by the hotel's responsiveness to enquiry prior to arrival and its suggestion that we take an alternative room more suited to us, which it provided at no extra charge. Such thoughtful indications of care for its customers are invaluable.

Helpful and friendly staff. Somewhere to sit outside the room.

It was very hot and the Aircon was not working. Fans were provided. The rooms were very small.

    Not a lot

No air conditioning as advertised, not big enough to accommodate 2 people never mind 4. You bang your head on the roof. As a student I have lived in better hostels and I personally wouldn't give it 1 star never mind the 3 stars it claims to have.

Cute decor. Extremely comfortable bed. Great blackout curtains. Consistently warm showers. Staff were very nice. Location also great - close to many attractions while being far enough to feel quiet and tucked away. I was sick for a part of my trip and was able to truly relax while here.

If I nitpick, the shower pressure was maybe slightly weak.

Good location within 20 minutes walk from the railway station. Comfortable room with modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast.

Good location close to the Rhône/Presqueisle. About 20 mins walk to Place Bellecour.Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was with my bike. When I was leaving, the guy on reception offered to refill my water bottles without me having to ask, and gave me a banana to eat on the way.

No real issues. Wifi was a bit ropey, my phone kept disconnecting.

Location is perfect, in a quiet central area. Close enough to transport systems. I preferred to walk into the centre ville, short stroll cross the river. Room was clean. Staff always available and friendly.

In the evening I would have liked to make myself a cup of tea, kettle and cup would have topped it. In general nothing I didn’t like with my stay.
