The air conditioning and proximity to Place Bellecourt.

The room and shower were very small, but sufficed. I thought was included and was surprised when charged €18.

Location

Staff was amazing! The room could have been slightly cleaner; the toilet room had an unpleasant smell. Towels were replaced daily but trash cans were not emptied daily. Super easy to cast my streaming services from my phone to the tv. Overall great value and great location!

Position and Staff.

I was given a room as I expected but we had trouble using Lavatory the all time and the shower has no hot water and wasn't Draining properly but it doesn't mean next time I will go to Lyon I will book the same Hotel.

Big enough to fit a family of four and location

Confusion among staff on what is considered age of "children" to avail free breakfast. On check in, the receptionist said free breakfast for 15 years and below. Upon check out they said only 5 years old and below. Thus we were charged for 2 breakfast meals.

There was a strong smell in the room; I don’t think the ventilation was sufficient. The toilet flush/drain wasn’t working properly, and I had to flush two or three times

Hotel is in excellent location close to everything. Spacious room with good lighting and shower. Nice breakfast.

We liked the central location with pedestrian streets, shops, restaurants and cafes. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Location, in the centre and close to the metro

Bathroom was nice but the rooms could be a bit updated.

We stayed at La Résidence Hotel for two nights and were very satisfied. The location is excellent, the room was comfortable, and the reception team was genuinely friendly and helpful with all our questions.

Super clean and comfortable hotel in the center of Lyon . The room was modern , spacious s s the bed was soooo comfortable. It had air conditioning and cable TV. I got sick from food poisoning and the front desk attendant Patrick helped recommend me a 24 hour pharmacy and also helped me with a train at 5 am . Thanks so much . Love this hotel and would definitely recommend it and go back

Smaller rooms

The location on Ave Victor Hugo in the 2nd Arrondissement was very central and very handy for everything. The Hotel deal with Parking Tilsitt was also a plus. Special thanks to Soraya on reception for the advice on where to dine on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Very helpful.

Old hotel, but renovated

Flush not working well, breakfast was not good, bed mattresses fully damaged and bend.

Excellent location. Friendly.staff. good breakfast

Lack of room facilities. No glasses in the rooms. Just sample paper cups. Hotel is a bit old fashioned.

The area was fantastic and in the middle of a lovely shopping district
