Hôtel Le Roosevelt Lyon Centre

The hotel was pretty far from the city center, the room didn't have a window that opened and it was so humid that week we literally felt like it was suffocating whenever we used the shower. The humidity would just linger for hours.

The location was great! Check in and check out super easy. Room clean. Great little teapot in the room. They had a huge room that locked so we could store our bags for day of departure. Huge plus.

We would have liked the option for decaf coffee at the bar but really not a big deal.

The hotel is lovely. Clean well appointed rooms, helpful staff and a breakfast that offers something for everyone.

No real issues, the breakfast room is easily overrun with guests, but the staff work hard to keep up

The design is wxcellent, very quiet and cosy hotel. The breakfast was godd taking into account that in france the idea of what is a breakfast is fundamentally different from other European countries

Perfect location in a quiet part of the city, with walking distance the city centre, and to a lot of really nice restaurants. The room was modern, the bathroom was lush and the hotel had a fresh feel.

We liked the location, it was downtown but quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was appreciated. Clean room and bathroom (nice and big shower).

The rooms are small (you can simply walk around the bed), and a little bit overpriced.

Room is bit small regarding to the price. Sound proof not perfect. Price a bit high during the Christmas season. Not breakfast included or the minibar.

Spacious rooms and high quality bathroom. The bar had good selection of Scottish whisky which is good indication of quality.

convenient location

awful night on a very hot night in Lyon - none of the air conditioning was working - no one told us upon arrival and when I reported this in the morning there was no apology - just that it wasn’t working.

The location was very good. Room was most comfortable; especially the bed. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.

The hotel is very accommodating to bicyclists. The garage for bikes and luggage storage makes for a perfect start and end to a Loire River tour.

Breakfast, no hot meal options, room size was small for a 4 star hotel, no water in rooms, bath tub shower set up and flooded floor when shower was used. non stop humming noise in our room from either a chiller unit or air con below our room. Have been to better 3 star hotels and the rate was way out of sync with the facilities provided.

Nothing, could always be cheaper but felt like good value for money, especially as booked last minute.

Air conditioning was woefully inadequate: one small vent, positioned on the desk, with really weak air flow. We stayed during hot weather and it was impossible to cool the room to a comfortable level. Room - and especially the bathroom - were very small and cramped, which didn't help with the temperature. The hotel has clearly invested a lot in high-quality furnishings, but desperately needs to invest in properly functioning air conditioning. Also, lifts small and slow, breakfast poor (limited choice) for the price, and overpriced bar.

The air conditioning in the rooms couldn’t handle the summer temperatures. It was approximately 30 degrees Celsius when we stayed so it’s probably an unfair example
