Reception welcome.The room and the balcony - if the weather was conducive; it would have been a nice space to sit outside.The toilet being separate from the bathroom - despite it being very small.The breakfast choice was good for a night's stay - including Gluten Free options readily available.The helpfulness of the staff.The ethical nature of taking a large bottle of water to the room

The room safe was overly complicated.The small kettle - maybe look to include a small Nespresso machine.Walk in shower, or more powerful shower head.

Room was a bit small for 3 adults. The toilet was tiny, it was like being in a broom cupboard.

Large, clean rooms for a 'city hotel'. Very well located, close to the main station in Lyon, in a street with all amenities. Easy acces to almost everything.

Stuff was friendly and helpful. Location is great , close to the station. Room was clean and spacious. View from balcony was on the church next to the hotel. Recommend to stay in this hotel.

They do not put slippers in the room until you ask for them in the reception, after that they give it to you. Also they don’t robes. I lost my charger in the room, left it one day and the next day I was searching I couldn’t find it.

Really comfortable, large,clean , well equipped rooms, Great location and excellent breakfast choice, fresh fruit , hams, cheese delicious.

Bar was already closed at 20.30 on a Sunday night, asked at reception. If we could order a drink while we played pool. This was met with a flat "the bar is closed monsieur " from the receptionist. Disappointing from a four star establishment and the receptionist was far from busy!

Great location- next to Lyon Perrache Gare. Close to confluence. And easy 30 min scenic walk to vieux Lyon. I like the courtyard and large rooms. Convenient separate toilet from bathroom in the room - Makes it more pleasant. Quiet location. Travel partner had a stomach bug our first night and the night staff, Isaac, was extremely helpful and supportive. Day staff had helpful suggestions and Also they kindly gave us extended checkout.

Contrary to some of the low ratings in the review, we had a great experience here. The staff were very welcome and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, great variety! WiFi was very good. Although it’s located outside the centre, there’s a bus/metro station less than a 5min walk from the hotel.

The bedroom had no fridge. The bathroom and toilets were very small, very basic and a bit oldish (the bathtub should be replaced with a walk-in shower)

Dated room

The hotel is well located, close to the train station.Parking at the train station near the hotel is good. Don't forget to validate and pay for your ticket at the hotel reception (you will receive a discount). The breakfast is simple. Adequate, but with not too many options. Don't forget to request a “superior” room to avoid problems with building maintenance at the "main"/"old" building.

We had reserved a room and were received one in the “main”/“old" building. The ventilation system turned on every 15 minutes and made noise for 5 minutes during the night. The shower in the bathroom was defective and sprayed water to the side instead of flowing through the holes provided for that purpose. The next morning, we went to the reception desk, explained the situation, and were received a new room in another “renovated”/"new" building. The new “superior” room was perfect, just as we had expected from a 4-star hotel from the outset.The explanation for the problems in the “old” room was that general maintenance of the "main"/“old” building is planned soon. Let's see when this maintenance will be carried out.

The location is convenient, close to the train station, which makes it practical for short stays. However, there isn’t much around the hotel. Good for congresses I guess in Confluence.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star property. Overall, it feels closer to a 3-star hotel. The facilities are quite old, and the room was super tiny with tiny desk and with no proper chair and very limited comfort. Basic amenities usually expected at this level were missing, such as a vanity kit or a bathrobe.Breakfast was disappointing. When I asked for soy milk, I was given an already opened and dirty carton, which appeared old and possibly past its consumption date. This was quite concerning.At the reception I also asked for water and was told to go to the end of the reception area, but there were no glasses available. I had to walk around to the bar, which was unattended at the time.Overall, the hotel feels outdated. The carpets were old and visibly dirty, and the general condition of the property does not reflect a 4-star classification.
