Spark by Hilton Lyon Ouest – Overnight stop reviewWe stayed here for one night on a road trip from Prague to Andorra. The hotel is very easy to reach from the motorway, and the property felt spotless, spacious, and pleasantly uncrowded. The mattress was comfortable and we slept well overall.

The only drawback: my partner is a light sleeper and our room had a faint but persistent hum, likely from a nearby ventilation shaft. Our kids’ second room was perfectly quiet, so this seems room-specific.

The room was big and very clean, they have the best towels, big, thick and super clean.The reception was super friendly. Parking was very convenient at the hotel underground.Breakfast presented a good and complete continental one.

Very nice and modern with good parking although expensive quite a good location but with one way streets it was difficult to find our way in at first. Comfortable big room with a good size bathroom and a very big TV. The breakfast was good although a little expensive for the options available but this is not a complaint

The little shop next to the cafe to me advertised to be open 24/7 but I must have read this wrong as when we tried get some drinks and snacks for the room we were told it was a separate thing and was not open. There was some hairs in the shower that I noticed when going to take a shower. I personally wish more hotels would have a fridge but that's my opinion.

Breakfast was nice. No bar or evening restaurant.

The price has gone up considerably since the hotel was acquired.

Highly recommend this hotel, as it is clean and comfortable to stay, personnel are really friendly, and the most important part - the breakfasts are wonderful, as for France (sorry guys, I love French croissants, but this is usually not enough for me in the morning :))) - we had boiled eggs, omelette, fried bacon, accompanied by the delicious croissants, couple of types of local meat, wonderful local yogurt. I was happy with breakfast! :))

The staff were not helpful, the man who was there frightened us about the money currency exchange and didn't accept any recommendation from us to make it easier, but the any shops and the restaurant near the plece made us comfortable

The parking is only accessible to enter and exit (car & person) by buzzing reception. It felt a bit unsafe. Note: at time of our stay, the hotel was already rebranded as a Hilton “Spark” hotel, but it wasn’t officially for a few more days, so internet and some other stuff was not working smoothly.

Very big room compared the other hotels. Extremely friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel near the river banks with plenty of restaurants in the area. Easy parking in the hotel underground parking. Very friendly and professional receptionist who spoke perfect english, we arrived early but our hotelroom was already available. We didn"t dined at the hotel but it all looked very good. We used this hotel on our way to southern France and will love to visit again.

Great modern hotel. Great breakfast. Huge bath towels and comfortable beds. Don't understand why only 3 stars?

breakfast was very poor. Staff could not refill food in time... long waiting time for bacon, egg, cheese, juice, etc...

Another stay at this very convenient and well-situated (by the river and close to main motorway junctions) hotel. Super-easy check in with, as always, very polite staff in attendance. Used the secure underground car park which is excellent. The on-site restaurant was closed (not a problem as this was made clear beforehand) so we went to an excellent bar/restaurant nearby in this now flourishing business district. There is a new Pathe cinema complex within 5 minutes walk too. Rooms were super clean, beds comfortable and fitness suite was a welcome distraction after spending all day driving. Breakfast was excellent and check out very smooth. Thank you for another excellent stay.
