Mercure Lyon Plaza Republique

Excellent hotel in a great location. Easy access to Old Lyon and all the other sites.

Good location in the center of Lyon. Good and pro people to advice you. Room well organized with all stuffs needed.

Location, clean, everyone friendly and helpful

Location was great. Breakfast was awesome.

Rooms were very small and a bit shabby. But the main concern was their size. They also quite negatively contrast with the reception and the expectations it creates.

The location is good and the staffs are friendly

The toilet is very small

Great location and comfortable bed, albeit a small room.

Brekky was a bit disappointing … stale bread and needed more staff

Great location, friendly staff, good value

Location was good and front desk staff very helpful.

Shower was horrible, room way too small for 2 adults with luggage. No place to open luggage and set it down. Bathroom very small.

All was very good...location, great staff, facilities. Not a big room but still OK, well organised. I would be back again when next time to Lyon.

The sink was blocked and bath towel were not changed :(

The room was spacious and clean. Service was excellent. The location was excellent as well. Compared to other options in Lyon, it is a very good choice at this price range.

Welcoming and helpful receptionists, daily room cleaning, comfortable beds. Good location in the heart of the city.

Nothing, everything was great

Location very good. Really liked cold water machine. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

The little breakfast should allow for more than one cup of coffee.

The breakfast was EXCELLENT! It felt like a gourmet chef was in charge of breakfast. I wanted to complement him or her personally, but could not find him.

Parking is available, but you have to go in and get the pass, while there is no parking on the streets to just go in and do that.

The location is incredible and the room felt very clean.

The room was very basic and I didn't appreciate paper cups instead of ceramic for a cup of tea. I couldn't find an iron and the plug in the sink got stuck shut.

Location is incredible, staff is very helpful and professional. It’s well run.

Rooms are tiny, though overall clean and good location.

Staff were extremely friendly. Allowed bag drop when our train arrived early so we could explore before check in. Good sized room and great facilities. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Lyon. Room was extremely quiet.

Nothing, it was excellent!

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, giving us restaurant recommendations and other recommendations for things to do in the city. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the main spots of the city and close proximately to great restaurants without being on a noisy street. We didn't take the breakfast but the options looked great.

Nothing - perfect!

It was okay. The room was small with just a twin bed and a tiny bathroom/shower that was literally a closet in the bedroom, and a separate (also tiny) toilet. But it was good for spending just the night.Breakfast is +20 Eur., which is a bit much for whatever one can eat in the morning; but I ended up opting for it once for convenience's sake. The room has A/C, which is good (it was very hot when we were there), and the usual hotel-hassle-some but free WiFi (one needs to pay extra for Hi-Speed, which I didn't; I didn't try to stream anything, for emails etc. the free tier was fine).

The position.. the nice water in the foyer , the staff

The room

Great location , helpful staff and good breakfast

Room was small , corridors a bit worn
