Great location, classic hotel, excellent staff! They gave me fantastic recommendations for places to go for breakfast and dinner.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location could not have been any better.

They did not have USB plugs for devices. The temperature in the room was too warm and we had to open the window to sleep.

The room is stylish, clean, little small but expected. The staff was excellent A+ especially for English speaking guests. Location is great. Highly recommended and definitely will be back.

Blew my expectations away. The service was definitely 5 star even though it was a 4 star. The property is in a great, safe location and it's such a cool hotel. The old elevator is incredible. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is so awesome.

Great building and location

Accessing the hotel is very difficult. You have to call ahead and get a code which they don’t want to release until the minute you are there. Then they have not enough people in staff to answer the phone to give the code. We waited 20 minutes and that was after having called an hour earlier exactly so we wouldn’t have this problem. If you have accessibility issues forget it ….

Location ,new refurbish room.

At check in the lady wasn’t welcoming at all, she might have been through a bad day.A/C wasn’t working, windows too complicated to open plus the out side noise if it’s opened.The room is refurbish besides the old cabinets which had a loss mirror inside.

Staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. Asked for a take-away breakfast the day we left and it was ready at 7am and was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was large, not often seen in European hotels.

Bad

I was sick and nobody could manage to deliver for me medicaments and fooddelivery from supermarket was also not possible...they sent me when I was vomiting in darkness and rain to find pharmacy, while I had pain and even could not open my eys, for Carlton the hotel has not that level, everything too old, bad smell in the bath room

Room was nice and clean. Small, but very nice. Location was great. Close to shopping, cafes.

Coffee was horrible. You HAVE to have good coffee in the morning, if not in the room... then somewhere in the hotel. Happy hour? Not sure about that.

The hotel was a beautiful boutique hotel, and the attention from all staff members made our stay excellent !The location was excellent as well, close to the Old Lyon and easy walking access to all key Lyon sites.

A very nice, comfortable, and stylish hotel. The location is perfect, with all the attractions within walking distance. Underground parking is conveniently located opposite the hotel.

Soundproofing between rooms could be better.
