    Pros +

    • The staff are friendly. Great location with easy access to all the tourist areas: restaurants, shops, sight seeing sites area are just across the bridge, by foot.
    • Perfect location with easy walking distance to every part of Lyon.Comfortable and quite spacious room.Breakfast was very good but could, if I should mention something, have some quicker refills and more vegetables.
    • Staff was kind and helpful, location was great, room was spacious and comfortable. All in all a great stay!

    Cons -

    • Breakfast was not great - both in variety and taste.
    • Small lounge area
    • The downstairs toilets off the reception area had no toilet roll in either of the toilets. This was rectified after approaching the reception team and telling them, however only placed in one of the cubicals by the staff.

    Excellent location, comfortable sleep, good...

The location was excellent. Located in the centre, close to shops, restaurants, and easy walking distance to the old town and other notable places to visit

While well located, there was much to be disappointed with this hotel. The staff were unfriendly, choosing in the main to communicate little or to do so reluctantly in English. In particular the lady supervising breakfast did not communicate ever with us, not even greeting us other than to request our room number. We had experienced staff in Paris and Nice hotels as part of this trip top France, who were friendly, welcoming and very helpful and especially informative in assisting us with directions and recommendations. In this case we had to ask for a map and were handed one with no comment. The hotel is dated and carpets worn and although we were in a 'prestige room' many of the wardrobe doors would not close easily, some requiring to be lifted into their frame. The pillows and duvet were polyester, poor for a hotel pricing itself at this level. Finally, there is no area to relax, with the exception of a few chairs around reception, no bar to speak of and no sense of warmth or welcome. Difficult to recommend this to anyone other than someone who needs a room only in the centre and is willing to pay above the odds (in our case in early February) for the privilege.

Perfect location in centre of town. Lovely boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

    Only the location!

We were in a suite, and the air conditioning system smelled like sewage. It was terrible. They told me on the phone that a repairman would be there in the morning... So we had to stuff a towel into the air conditioning grate and turn off the air conditioning. It ended up being very cold because the radiators weren't working... The food wasn't tasty. When we checked in, there was hair (and other things) on the toilet and sink...We paid in cash. And the guy at reception initially overcharged us by almost 200 euros! Be careful!Only the location!

Breakfast was pretty good, but hard to get a table. Location was excelent. And staff very nice and helpfull.

Rooms were quite small and pillows awful...

Bathroom had everything we needed, perfect supply of necessities.

The carpeting in the room and headboard design was outdated

Great location, very central and close to nice restaurant, bars, shops and sights

Couldn’t get the cast to function on the tv as the tv wouldn’t load

Great breakfast. Excellent location. You can walk to almost all main attractions.

Heating the room was a bit difficult when the weather was cold. Ancient A/C system that only made noise but not proper heat.

    10HesaPosted on: 1-2-2026

Everything the staff was amazing and cooperative specially Mila , she was a sweetheart Bonne soirée

The separation of the bathroom and the sink wasn’t the best honestly

    6OlgaPosted on: 12-28-2025

    Good location and friendly staff.

The furniture is cheap and walls are painted several layers, parts of the rooms are outdated. No towel dryer, the ceiling was in spots.

    8SimonaPosted on: 12-21-2025

The location, the room was spacious, the staff

Just one small bottle of water in the fridge.

    8TimPosted on: 12-9-2025

Then location and friendly staff. The free crepe was a nice touch. The room was well cleaned.

The breakfast room. It was cramped. Peak times couldn't accommodate people.

    8YoliPosted on: 11-25-2025

    Location

Small bed. Only one elevator for too many rooms

    8AhmedPosted on: 11-17-2025

The location, cleanliness and coziness of the room

Room size, A/C was not working

    8DebPosted on: 10-4-2025

A great location with friendly, helpful staff. A comfortable bed and good bathroom.

A small word of caution to be careful of the sturdy metal reading lamps over each pillow. They can be bent out of the way but you might be caught out by them the first time you get into bed - as I was!
