Lyo Hôtel - Centre Lyon Perrache

Great location, super cheap for four of us. Check in and out was super easy thanks to helpful staff. We walked to Brasserie Georges. Also so close to train station, which was our original plan before taking the car

Black coloured mould throughout apartment. In the shower, bathroom, over our bed upstairs. Really disgusting. So if you’re happy dealing with that for one night of cheap convenient location go for it. Parking was paid and difficult so be warned!

The location is very good, near to the train/bus station, restaurants, markets and stores. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is well served.

Perfect location for a one night stay in Lyon. Easy to find, ideal location only a few minutes from Place Carnot and the Christmas market. Great value for money.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and well supplied. The bed was comfortable and the room was mostly quiet.

The paint in the bathroom was a bit tired and chipped, which made it feel slightly less clean but it was clean despite that. The room wasn't the warmest and the heating unit was a little bit noisy and not super efficient.

I wanted to change my room because first room was cold and just air condition was working I didnt prefer but The hotel changed my room in a few minutes

Good location, close to the center and Perrache railway station & metrostation. The room and the bathroom were clean; No problem with Wi-Fi too.

Very small room wıth pretty basic furnishings. There wasn't even an electric kettle. The TV screen was a maximum of 13".The reception was under renovation and the whole place looked like a construction site. The reality was quite different from the pictures on booking. The African guy at the reception who worked at night did not know English. I repeated to him 2 times that I did not speak French and yet he continued to speak only in French.

I was close to everything I wanted to visit. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

There is refurbishment work going on at the moment but it was clean and safe.

The loft I had was spacious once you navigated up a flight of precarious, shallow steps.Bed was comfortable and decor was simple but tasteful. My room had a kettle and jacuzzi bath but my sister's didn't.

Lobby was under renovation and had no proper flooring which was certainly not reflected in the price we paid.The bathroom and shower were downstairs and one has to navigate very very tiny steps to get up and down. Certainly not recommended for the elderly or pregnant. No fridge for beverages.Heating coil was not working.Staff were polite but could be a little more enthusiastic. One has to hang one's room keys on a public board which poses a bit of a security issue.

Staff really nice.Very good location : close to the train, metro and tramway.Also close to various places to eat (restaurants, bakeries, snacks).

Room a little small but for a 2 stars, it is normal.

Well located and friendly staff. I could leave my luggage there, although it was on the open entrance area, anybody could come in and take it

The entrance was under construction. So it is literally a construction side. Workers are around, it's dusty, it's noisy. The reception area showed in pictures is not at all how it looks now. The room was ok, but the bathroom was mouldy and the towels dirty. I don't think the hygiene level is high as they keep their bedding and towels outside in a wooden shed/wardrobe-like structure. I could see this as I was leaving. There were plenty spiderwebs and a clear dirty environment. I think they should up their hygiene levels.

Could not bend over in the shower. Rooms a little too petite. Hotel foyer a construction site with no amenities and no warnings to customers about the mess. Breakfast included but none available!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a nice area with plenty of dining options.

The room was clean and comfortable - Walking distance ok from city center (about 30 min), as you can go exploring the city, the location is close to the metro station

Very friendly and attentive staff. Although the room was small and the building is old, it was more than adequate for one person. AC worked well. Quiet at night.I appreciated being able to leave my bags there for a few hours after checkout.

Location excellent for transport links and the area of Rue de la Charité has nice cafés and restaurants with some good healthy product supermarkets. Very nice atmosphere . The room was clean on arrival, the bed was comfortable and the staff were all friendly and very personable. I would stay again.

Parking would have been good, but as a motorbike it’s fairly easy to find. Also maybe a tea/ coffee station if I’m being picky but again for the price I’m not mad

The location is very close to the bus station, also it’s pretty close to the old town. The room was clean and cozy. It was convenient to have a small corridor that divided the room and the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. In the hotel they gave us a brochure with several good restaurants.

The room might be small for two persons. It has a lack of some wardrobe/hanger or commode. In the bathroom it would be better if it has towel hooks. Also you need to leave the keys on the reception before to go out. And i wish the personal could be more hospitable and nicer.

Very nice place, the room is very good, especially the toilet and shower room. If I come to Lyon again I will look for this hotel.

The TV location is not comfortable! It is above the window, and cannot have the window fully open because of the TV.

Leaking air conditioner. Repaired after two days and became extremely noisy. Impossible to use at night. At 39 C during the day and 28 C sleeping was nearly impossible without air conditioner.
