Pros +
- The room was very beautiful and well designed, which made a great impression.
- The location
- Very quiet which is very unusual for an old building The staff was nice and gave me a room on the courtyard side, when I asked for one.High ceilings and large stairs give the general impression of having ample room around you.The hotel is very close to a major restaurant and bar / going-out area in Brotteaux but not actually part of it
Cons -
- Unfortunately, the heating did not work properly (or it was sonething to do with the building being old) making the room constantly very very cold, something that affected the overall comfort of the stay.
- The room was tiny. The coffee machine did not work (two capsules provided). No air in the room.
- rooms are old , dark and smelly. one staff mentioned a scented candle in the room was to mask an odour from the previous guest or the room itself

Breakfast was a good selection for all tastes. The location is fantastic, close to lots of nice restaurants and the big park!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to lots of great restaurants and places to visit.
The WiFi didn't connect
Service, politeness, location
No hairdryer
Location - some good bars and restaurants nearby and about 5 minutes on foot to the main train stationBreakfast - decent choice
Room - possibly the smallest double room I have ever stayed in and no wardrobe - just 6 hangers between 2 walls - I am not making this up! I haven't been in a hotel without a wardrobe since I was a student in Greece. I had to leave items hanging from the corner of the TV!Breakfast - the woman in charge of attending to guests at breakfast was utterly devoid of any customer service skills or perhaps it was just my imagination when she blanked me constantly when she heard my accent and continued to serve French guests with great enthusiasm...Min bar - poorly stocked, no beers or wine
comfort of bed and good airco modern bathroom
flow of the shower to limited lift very tiny break fast room
Position and style
Small room and parking missing
A clean comfortable hotel
I was charged €159.00 for 8 breakfasts and do not undestand why?I was told that the breakfast would be €10.00 per guest.....?Can you help with this?
The location is excellent, the room was very quiet with the windows closed, staff were so helpful before I arrived in making arrangements, and the room was much bigger than I expected
Breakfast could have been better, I wasn’t that impressed with it and I wasn’t given an order form for my second breakfast so missed out on it. And I didn’t like the pillows.
Location
Value for money. The hotel is old and tired and expensive for what it was
the property was fine. it was clean and it was in a nice neighborhood. it was very corporate though- definitely a chain hotel. However, the man who helped us at the front desk was wonderful. he was very helpful- assured me in sending a package, internationally. also, he was very kind to my daughter and I- he thoughtfully gave us water and her an apple, while we waited to go to the airport.
corporate feeling
Rooms too small and everything looked cheap. Incredibly small bathroom. this is not a 4 stars hotel!
We liked the connecting rooms with the kids Beds were super comfyToilets were nice and cleanBreakfast was good, my children enjoyed making their own eggs
Carpets made rooms look old and musty but room and bathroom were clean
Passable
Rooms are bad and beds are not comfortable. The view from my room was a courtyard??
Location was good, staff was helpful
It was too hot in the room and it was impossible to change the heating. If opening window it was too loud at night outside
nothing ( rien)
a lot of noise ( trop de bruit : métro voiture train)rapport qualité prix nul !
The large windows that were well sound proofed. The twin room overlooking the main road was good for my adult boys. My husband and I were moved to a room overlooking the main road. It had large windows and felt spacious . The breakfast was good and included in the price . There was a selection of cook your own boiled eggs / fried , cold meats and cheeses, pastries, toast and jam, tea and coffee etc The location was good . We like walking ' walking to the Old Town and back. My son ran and did a 5kms run around the park and it's lake. Parking was free across the road in August. Another advantage as no parking at the hotel.
I preferred the rooms overlooking the street . One of the rooms allocated originally looked over the internal courtyard and the double bed and room size was small . I asked to change rooms to overlook the main road. The hotel moved us across the corridor to a Privelage Room . This was on the 3rd floor and was much better . The doors to the balcony and windows were well sound proofed.
