Warm hotel room. Unable to adjust temperature. Hole in shower door.

The hotel suited us as we needed a hotel for one night near the train to the airport. There is also convenient transportation to the old town. For those who like to walk, the walking distance to the old city is about 40 minutes

The dinning room at breakfast looks like a train station in rush hour.

Location is the key advantage of this hotel - and the only reason they can charge as much as they doBreakfast was really good!Reception staff are nice and friendly!

Despite the far from low price, you won't be able to shake the feeling of how much they are trying to cheap out on you.The rooms are absolutely tiny—there isn’t even enough space to open a single suitcase. Everything in the room is made from the cheapest possible materials. Even the showerhead is a grey plastic model specifically designed to restrict water flow (and, consequently, the enjoyment of your shower). To top it off, there is no bottled water in the room; if you're thirsty, you're expected to go down to reception and fill up a small cup.

Functional room in a great location for train travelers, directly next to Lyon Part Dieu

Close to station for overnight stay

Room was much too hot and we couldn’t adjust heating, finished up opening windows and then sleep still difficult because of traffic noise

Location was great, right next to Gare Part Deu. Room was convenient, very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly, we were at Christmas time- there have been small pleasant surprises for the guests.

The location was very convenient as it is right next to the train station. The room service was great -can’t rate it high enough. I arrived really ill at the hotel on the first day so the staff took great care of me/us.They had all the extras I asked for in the room: extra towels, extra duvet and a very quiet room.The coffee was amazing and the breakfast fresh and well cooked. It is a quiet hotel which I enjoyed a lot as I visited during the busy period of Christmas. There were always enough tables to take your breakfast and the staff was kind and welcoming at all times.

The room was small-maybe we should have gone for a bigger room rather than the standard one. We also needed extra duvets as it was quite cold inside the room. I didn’t enjoy the fact that the housekeeping was not cleaning the room completely - it needs some work on this aspect but overall cleaning was decent. Water bottles were sold on site only in glass which made it quite challenging for us to take multiple bottles with us. I understand they are trying to move away from plastic but keeping the bottle wide open without a lid was not something I am used to ( each bottle had a tin lid that needed a bottle opener so you could not close the bottle back again upon opening it)

Location to Lyon Part Dieu train station is excellent. Well insulated against noise from main road. Good breakfast offered. Was good for my overnight stops over. Useful desk with seating

The best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to a wonderful restaurant just three doors down which was recommended when I checked in. They reserved a table for me and there I had the best meal of my three-week trip. The Ibis breakfast was great. Staff were wonderful and a member of staff walked me to their garage where they had a lock-up for my bike. There's a nice walk through town to get to the river and the more picturesque part of the city.

Excellent cleanliness, good location, good Wifi

Excellent (typical) Ibis breakfast. Staff at reception were great. Though right beside the train station there was no noise at all. Being so close to the station also meant very easy access to the metro and bus system, plus stores in the station for food and wine (but carry your own corkscrew, the hotel doesn't have any).

My room had only curtains for the shower enclosure, which felt a bit odd. But in the event, they worked.

Some of the breakfast hot food was cold, but there was a great choice to select from.

Comfortable, clean, modern. Efficient staff, excellent location next to railway station, metro, trams and buses. Good security. Good breakfast.
