Lovely friendly welcome and vibe to the lobby. Rooms spacious, sheets thick and beds comfy. Amazing view and location is superb. Coffee and tea in room and water available. WiFi strong and steady for work. Supermarket and insanely addictive pharmacy close by. I would stay again for all these reasons. Don’t get the breakfast, go and experience the amazing boulangeries in the city.

The room is set to 19 degrees as part of their ESG pledge which is admiral but my word, it was freezing in the room and even more so in the bathroom. I want a heated towel rack and a room where I am not shivering and putting on my winter coat to sit at the desk to do some work. They did increase the temperature at my request but even at 22 degrees it was still cold and I am someone who hates feeling too warm.

Outstanding location ....near the cathedral, fine arts museum and other sights. Surrounded by shops, restaurant and cafes. Very professional staff with a friendly manner. Good sized room, double windows (so no traffic noise), proper blackout curtains. Complimentary hit and cold drinks available at all times. The hotel used to be a factory and the decor and photos pay tribute to that history. Quirky decor. My second time in a 'Happy Culture hotel and they have nailed quirky personality and comfort and convenience.

A hanging basket or shelf in the shower cubicle would have been useful.

The location is perfect

The alivator didn't work due to renivation and they inforom me day before .Breakfast very basic

The building is old

Location, size of the room, amenities, staff… all fabulous.

Location was good. Reception staff were helpful. Access to free sparkling and still water. Bars and restaurants very close by.

The building is very dated and needs some love. Rooms are better than communal areas. The communal areas are tight, often having to step over housekeeping, vacuum cleaner or laundry bags when leaving the room. Walls are thin so you can hear all activity from neighbouring rooms. Bathroom had no ventilation so all smells filled the room. Reception area doesn’t have anywhere to sit comfortably.

Central location. Comfy bed.

Elevator out of order. The climb up the stairs was tolerable- but dirty dark condition of stairs left unfavourable impression.

The hotel was very central and close to the main attractions of Lyon, so, it was very convinient for tourism. The staff was also friendly and accomodating. We felt welcome as soon as we entered.

The room was a bit cold when we entered but we easily set up the heater to a warm temperature.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, great staff. Coffee machine available both in the room and the hotel lobby. Location is in the hart of Lyon, very handy for exploring the city.

Elevator a bit small, understandable for an older building.

Really nice hotel, the room was spacious and had everything that we needed, managed to get some amazing sleep! Staff was also great and very hospitable. The location is superb, close to the majority of places of interest within Lyon.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, right in the city center and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops.The room was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and enjoyable.I would also like to especially thank the reception staff — everyone was very kind, helpful, and professional throughout my stay.I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The perfect location, comfortable beds, very kind and helpful people. We even could see the Fourviere basilica from our room.

The common areas are a bit outdated.

I absolutely liked the location and the warm welcome at the reception. One can also enjoy tea or coffee at the reception.

I really enjoyed the hotel, that was quite calm, tidy and silent.

I think the breakfast can be improved and some more variety would be welcome.

Everything was amazing. Location is central, close to everything. I loved that the room was spacious with high ceiling and I had lovely view of the city. Friendliest staff I have ever meet at a hotel. Also, I have to mention that I forgot my digital watch in my room and I only realised when I was at the airport. The staff found it and arranged to send it back to me. I will be forever grateful for their kindness! Lorry-Ann & Loan Pollet are some of the amazing staff there!!
