Pros +
- Building is amazing.
- Beautifully renovated
- The location was beautiful! Up on a hillside of Lyon with great views. It was also central enough to for a 20-30min beautiful stroll to the busy areas of Lyon.
Cons -
- The room had no fridge and bathroom and bathroom floor was cold.
- Service in the bar outside could be a bit more friendly. Limited food choices to accompany the drinks
- Facilities were lacking, no sauna and really small gym despite being a “wellness“ hotel.

Location and style.
Our room had a fantastic view but was a little small. It is actually hard to fault.
Super nice design, cozy bed, incredible breakfast. We will definitely repeat!
Access can be tricky but it’s not the hotels fault
The property is in a beautiful building with fabulous views (including the alps). Great neighbourhood. Good for anyone wanting to get their walking up and down stairs(worth it for the spectacular views).Very clean room and very helpful staff.I enjoyed the gym too
We would have liked an indoor lounge area
This hotel was very modern with a fantastic outside bar area overlooking the city of Lyon. The hotel is up on the hill away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast was very good which we ate on the deck area also overlooking the city.
The outside terrace
The area the hotel is situated in. The room and the fact that it is a building site around the hotel
The hotel is stylish and the room was lovely. The staff were very helpful. The view is amazing looking down over the river and the Rousse outdoor bar provided a relaxed but lively atmosphere.
The hotel is in in the Croix Rousse district at the top of a hill. We walked down into Lyon old town and back up again a few times - but you need to be fit! Getting to the hotel by car is confusing.
Old world charmCourtyard views and and a drinkClose to restaurants and bars
No iron in roomNo barfridge
The location and the hotel itself were top notch and the staff was extremely nice. I loved the fact that they called in advance to organise the parking and they booked a really nice restaurant nearby for me and my kids.
Given how difficult it was to circulate with the car in the hotel area, having to return the parking card to the hotel reception was very inconvenient.
Beautiful, clean and comfortable
A longer walk from downtown Lyon
Clean, spacious room. Professional staff at reception.
Good room. Nice building Great views and terraces
Room is big enough and very clean, terrace is nice.
Location is far from center and require transportation. Connectivity to train station is also a concern, requiring taxi.
The location was stunning and breakfast was great, sitting on the veranda overlooking the river, beautiful views
Good, plenty of choice. As the weather was good we ate outside on the terrace.
Beautiful hotel and a superb breakfast. Room was small but perfectly appointed with very high ceilings. The bar / breakfast terrace has literally one of the best views in Lyon, fantastic. Reception team were very kind when we arrived, tired out from a long hot drive, and offered us water and assisted with getting acts to the room.
Arrival - there was work going on around the hotel so all the green areas and parts of the road were dug up - not the hotels fault but not a great first impression. We had booked a car parking space and had arrived after a 5 hour drive. We were tired and very hot. The parking space was in an underground car park near the hotel but the directions were poor and it was very frustrating and tiresome locating the entrance and then trying to navigate back...Location is a little far out but manageable with taxis to get to the old part of the city.
Great rooms, large and lovely location
Spa not finished, expensive without the facilities to match that.
Location was excellent. Ambience. Reception team.
The housekeeping on our 2nd day stay was unsatisfactory. We had 2 rooms and both were not cleaned except for the beds were made. But dirty towels and empty water bottles were left untouched and rubbish bins not emptied.
