Campanile NATURE - Lille Lomme

Good value. Perfect for stay over before ferry home to England.

Not a criticism but… Our French is okay. We indicated this to the receptionist who then spoke very quickly. Please by kind to those of us who struggle with French and speak more slowly. We were getting instructions about what to do when we left early in the morning but missed a lot. I suppose I should have said at the time - sorry.

Very convenient location. Recently improved. Clean and comfortable.

The plumbing wasn’t working very well - the sink drained very slowly and the toilet cistern didn’t fill sufficiently so the flush was weak. As we were there for one night it wasn’t worth contacting reception. It may have been connected to the low temperatures.

We stayed here to attend the Paris Olympics in Lille so the location was perfect. The staff were nice, comfy rooms, and a nice breakfast to start the day.

Good location for bars & restaurants. Lady on reception very helpful and polite.

Small car park and getting to the hotel with large van is a nightmare. Fixtures and fittings leave a little to be desired. Certainly needs an update and refresh.

Underrated hotel, it should have 10 rating, cosy simple room, prepared very carefully for guests, most comfortable bedsheets, the mattress could be tougher, kind personal, exceptional French breakfast, located next to a lake and park, we recovered and refreshed truly, silent, quiet elegant place, we don't know if we will be in that area ever but will definitely stay here, highly recommend

Breakfast coffee was watery, could be better

The reception was amazing, and the personnel was kind, smiling, and accessible. We had quiet and peace,, breakfast was great and fresh ingredients. What we loved more was the Staffs smile ? and heartfelt reception and care.

The location, next to a park, lake and walks was great. Also close by was a retail park with cinema and bowling alley and a lot of eating places to chose from.

There was a damp odour in the room, could have been old cigarette smoke. The room itself was ok although the Aircon controller was damaged.

The room was nice and clean.The breakfast was pretty good.

I prefer less soft pillows.

They said they had a restaurant, which is why we booked. But actually the restaurant was shut.

Parking in front of the hotel which is closed for a night. Really good breakfast - pancakes in the morning made my day.

A heating in the bathroom was not working as it should.

Secure parking, clean room recently refurbished. Good location with chain restaurants nearby.

Location is on an out of town cinema / restaurant complex which seems unfinished in some areas. Hotel is 10 min walk from the nearest metro, which is fine during the day, but horrible at night. Very dark and lonely, significant areas unlit that did not feel safe for two women returning from town given people hanging around for no obvious (good) reason.Code to get in via the car park gate did not work, nor did the intercom to night staff. Had to access via the hotel next door that had not locked their gates.Double bed against the wall means one person has a less than comfortable night. Rooms should be designed so that bed can be acessed from both sidesSlightly damp, stagnant smell in the bathroom

There is no a/c in the room and it is pretty difficult when it's super hot outside

Convenience, quietness of location, ease of access and helpfulness of staff. Although the breakfast was extra, it was brilliant.

The room was not as clean as I would have expected. The TV did not work, was fixed after I complained. The location did not feel safe for parking a motorcycle. The hotel restaurant was closed and the 'chain' restaurants on the retail park were not the most inviting of places. Very expensive beer at the hotel!

Location was easy to get to, good range of bars and places to eat a short distance away

Room was a bit tired, some bad repairs, some areas not repaired e.g. door handle pushed through into wall, Covers were off on vents in the bathroom etc.

A good breakfast was available at a reasonable cost

The (new) pillows were a little hard for our liking.
