Close to station. Nice old building and friendly staff.

The walls are little thin.

Location was excellent, room was clean and warm. Breakfast was good.

No shower in room, only a hand held over a bath. Bathroom was an odd shape and quite small.

The breakfast was standard . More hot food would have been appreciated. A range of croissants/ pastries would have been good as well were in a French city.

The room was tiny. Fortunately although classed as a double I was the only occupant. There was nowhere to put clothes. There was no blind / curtain in the narrow space leading to the toilet. This particular room needs refurbishment. My friend’s room was fine though.

Great location for a short break. Comfortable room, very good breakfast buffet and welcoming staff.

Nice size room & bathroom. Storage to hang clothing. TV with some UK channels. Excellent breakfast.

On upper floor, so not a major privacy issue, but some proper blinds/curtains would have been nice to keep out light at night. Lovely staff who made special effort for UK guests.

Bath a bit small and tap got stuck. a bit too warm in the room

Breakfast was good and late enough at the weekend for a layin.

Bed was too hard, and only a queen double which wouldn’t have been so good for 2

The bathroom was tiny, strangely laid out so that getting into the bath was tricky with the shower screen and the toilet in the way.The bedroom was very small.Only one hook in the bedroom/bathroom.Some of the reception staff were politely offhand, or unhelpful with a smile.

Hotel Brueghel is a fascinating building. Antiques everywhere and all facilities are modern and the kept to the period. Views are stunning. Loved the lift. Staff lovely, friendly. Very pet friendly

Slight setback as the hotel does not have parking. There are several parking areas around the area. Look on maps. Not too expensive for overnight parking. Indigo seem to dominate the parking, not a very high standard as far as reaching your car. Needs a complete update/returb but this does not have a negative on the hotel.

The hotel is very quirky and right in the centre of Lille. The room was lovely and warm.

We would have liked a late check out but the hotel was fully booked. Not a criticism, it just shows how popular it is!

The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. I also liked that it was close to the railway station. It was a very nice hotel that I would be happy to stay again.

I would have liked to see that the shower head had a fixture on the wall.

The room was small, the bathroom had no shower, only a bath tube. And it didn't smell good.

The only problem I had was that I arrive at 11.30pm and heating wasn’t on in the room which was very cold. I did get the heating working the next day…

Great, dog-friendly breakfast, nice location, friendly staff, clear room, good heating, charming building.

I stayed for one night. The only thing I did not like is that the walls between the rooms are very thin with no sound insulation. This is an old, historic building, probably that's why. I heard everything the guests talked about and did in the room next door. Unfortunately, they came back to their room at around 1am and had a phone conversation with a third person on speaked for about an hour. Between 23:00-24:00 people moved out from the room above me, I heard them packing and moving things. I barely slept that night. Other reviews mentioned this problem as well, I should have read them more carefully beforehand.

The noise, it was very loud. Heard the neighbour in the toilet the walls were that thin.

Staff excellent, rooms spacious for location, newly refurbed, warm, nice bathroom. Very central. Old hotel charm with all the modern conveniences. Value for money outstanding.

One room was fine, second room had very very tight shower room so not a comfortable experience.

Great place situated 5 min by foot from Liile-Flanders railway station. Seems like an old hotel which has been taken a good care of. Room was small but clean with everything needed. Receptionist is always there to help you and super friendly.
