The interior design and lovely welcome, the lobby was cosy

Nothing really, hard to comment that one side of the building doesn’t have a lift as it’s so old, would be handy but not a deal breaker - as they still accommodate with a lift for those who need one

I loved the view from the window and being so central to the old city.

Hotel personnel solved a reservation problem for us that was caused by Booking and not by the hotel. Much appreciated!

The room was very gloomy. All grey everywhere!Very poor lighting in bathroom.Very strange and uncomfortable placement of the toilet.Very poor sound insulation.( I could hear everything from the room above.)

Foyer area was very nice…..smart and clean.

Room very small….tired…dark…dusty areas…have taken picsCoffee making facilities poor….Outside balcony looked unclean, unloved…peeling paint and dead plants….Just generally disappointing….Wouldn’t go back.

This is a three star hotel in beautiful yet busy city centre. The hotel is well situated in vieux Lille, surrounded by beautiful buildings housing lots of interesting small shops and cafés.The hotel staff are pleasant, smallish rooms, nice and warm, perfect for one or two people for a short break.The breakfast was a bit pricey, however very relaxed with a decent selection, well presented including some regional options.We ate in a different restaurant each evening, all within a few moments of the hotel.The hotel was decorated tastefully including a lovely tree for Christmas and Lille looked magical.

If I’m being picky, better coffee would have been appreciated, but it was all fine.

As lovely as the property is, it needs to be updated, starting with the television.... possibly find a place for smokers so the lobby doesn't smell like an ashtray

This is a very nice hotel in a great location in the centre of the Old Town. Several restaurants within a 5 minute walk, Grande Place not much further.Hotel was welcoming, warm and cosy in a very cold spell. An old building well modernised, and a comfortable room. Helpful staff. And excellent breakfast, spoilt for choice.

The room was comfortable but really quite small. And the bathroom only had a bath, in which a stand-up shower isn't really practicable.But I would go again, as everything else was great!

Well appointed rooms with all necessary functions and furniture one needs. Good bed. Nice view towards a park and the cathedral. This room is only accessible via staircase. Practical and clean bathroom.

The connecting door between the rooms is not well sound insulated. A disadvantage if you have a loud or otherwise noisy neighbor. Imagine one that is watching the World Cup all night!

Breakfast was lovely, Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were very small. Location was fantastic. Staff were very helpful. The hotel decor was lovely

We were told we could have a drink in the hotel before dinner but the member of staff was so busy on the desk that we waited 25 minutes for him to help us when he then told us he had no ice, no gin and he didn't know what mixers he had to put with vodka!!

The staff were extremely pleasant and exceptionally good, able to provide directions to key shopping sites. The location was near the 2 main train stations and many attractions.

The room I was assigned was the smallest I had during my entire stay in Europe, tiny, tiny. I don't know if this is the norm due to the location in the old section of an historical city. As a visitor without unlimited funds I need to balance preferred ambience, facilities, comfort, location, quality of staff and cost. I obviously didn't research room size as a more important component in this mix, here in Lille.

The hotel was superbly located in the old town and very central, perfect for walking and viewing all of Lille on foot. Despite the central location of the hotel, it was not noisy through the night. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights which was ample time to view this city and its pretty streets. We only had breakfast one morning, which was nice, but preferred to explore the lovely coffee and patisserie shops that were close by. Lots of lovely, local restaurants to choose from, booking is recommended!

Can't really fault the hotel. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice to keep water and wine cool.

The hotel is beautifully and tastefully furnished. There was a wide choice for breakfast, served in a very pleasantly decorated breakfast room. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and courteous. The locations is ideal, close to shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the central square.

Everything ! Hôtel de la treille is such a classy, elegant, charming hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly, the service was excellent, the rooms very beautiful and comfortable, the view and location is dreamy. Absolutely recommend it.

No air conditioning during a horrible heatwave. However, the ceiling fan was very effective.

Went for a concert but stayed to see town. Great place, great hotel, and it could not have been a better location. We filmed a report on Doris Visits as we were so pleased with it.

Lille was so good, and so easy by Eurostar, it is an ideal break.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They fixed the bedside light straight after we reported it and were very welcoming overall.

Nothing we didn’t like. The only negative was that the room was small and very warm. There is no air conditioning - there is a ceiling fan but it’s not obvious how to use it - some instructions would have been helpful.

Located in the center of Vieux Lille, with a public parking (if you come by car) next door.The entire hotel is tastefully decorated, the staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast is generous.
