Pros +
- We loved the breakfast. The staff was great. The location was very good, an easy walk to the Flandres and Europe train-stations and equally easy walk to city center which is beautiful, especially at night.
- Beautiful property - clean, comfortable, centrally located. Especially liked that even though our room was facing the busy street, it was so quiet.

Cons -
- It's good the bed was comfortable, because it took up almost all the space in my "cosy" room; this size room wouldn't work for more than one person. I was also disappointed to find an empty soap dispenser in the shower and no drinking glasses anywhere in the room. The Rosa's reliance on QR codes (for entering the hotel and my room) caused several issues. First, the link for retrieving my QR code refused to work; I was able to get in using a buzzer at the door, but a delayed train got me in much later than planned, and I couldn't have gotten in once the staff had left the front desk at 9pm). The code reader for my room also proved finicky; the hotel should provide guidance on how to make it work.
- Only part may have been getting access to the lobby - I was not sure if we needed a door code and it was a bit hard to hear the instructions from front desk attendant over the noise of a busy outdoor seating restobar located outside front door on a Friday night.
- I didn’t notice at first, but blankets were not provided, so I felt cold overnight with nothing to cover myself. While the self-check-in process is convenient, I did observe an unknown person entering after us. Initially, I thought he might be a guest, but upon noticing that there was someone at the reception, he left.

I chose the hotel for its sustainability certification and location across from the train station (which is excellent). The bed was quite comfortable, and the individual reading lights beside the bed were actually quite ingenious. Staff was uniformly cheerful and helpful. I liked the modern renovation and the style of the breakfast/common room.

This place felt like a spa. The cleanliness, comfort of the rooms and common area (great breakfasts d all day snacks). Staff were super welcoming and although we all struggled with language (our French not great) they were very patient.

I like the location of the hotel. Facilities provided are as promised, and rooms look the same as shown in photos. Self-check-in helps a lot to save unnecessary formalities.

Excellent location right in front of the train station. Secured entrance with QR code, nice staff, very comfortable bed and pillows, very clean, decent size room, nice toiletry. There is a common area on the first floor, available 24/7, with coffee and a water dispenser. Beatiful view. Highly recommended boutique hotel!
Comfortable bed, great shower, nice view, proximity to old town and perfect for Flanders train station connections.
There was a strong, flowery cleaner odor in our room that made us cough. The staff told us this was due to a 2-week cleaning process through the ventilation system throughout the entire hotel. We had to keep the windows open which helped some but it was noisy and hot.
Room and location plus price!
The entry is unnecessary.
This hotel is a gem. Located right next to the bus station, Rosa hotel is very clean. The room was relatively small, but had everything we needed including a large window. The staff was very professional and friendly. There is a common room where we could get coffee in the afternoon. All in all, we had a great stay in this hotel and highly recommend it to other travelers.
Centrally located, friendly staff, easy check in and out, all digital.
Room was clean enough but not to my standard. Occupants of the room above me were extremely loud until late in the evening.
Comfortable bed, clean room with a good shower and separate toilet.
Small lift to room on the fifth floor.
Best shower out of the 5 hotels we stayed in France. Also had the most comfortable bed and was close to both railway stations.
Room size is small
It’s a perfect little hotel very close to stations.
Some rooms are quite small and the bathroom was very small but we were in a city and the v reasonable price reflects that.
The room was very big and comfy. Everything was very clean. The stuff were very nice. The dinning hall was beautiful. I really appreciated my stay in Rosa Hotel.
Although we were on the third floor and the stuff said that it would be calm, it was in fact quite noisy and we could hear people's conversations on the street from the third floor: Make sure to ask for rooms that do not lean towards the street.
The room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and friendly
The noise from the street below. People were sitting outside a bar until late in the evening and revellers kept me awake until after midnight.
Loved the hotel. Really comfortable clean room. Good shower, nice towels. Free safe for valuables. Modern hotel and only about 10 minutes walk to the station for the Eurostar. Buffet style breakfast with the lovely option of cooking your own waffles. The breakfast room is quite small & does get busy after 930 so better to go earlier to get a pick of the tables. No tea or coffee in the room but the option to get hot drinks from the machine in the breakfast room on the first floor, with the added bonus of a slice of cake which was available during the day. The only downside was the noisy location. The double glazing is very efficient but like many hotels in the area, this is above a bar & this does mean it can be noisy at night.
Boutique hotel near the Lille Flanders rail station, warm check-in in English, small elevator up to my clean, comfortable room that included a sofa overlooking the rail station, yet I wasn’t bothered by noise. Breakfast included Belgian waffles. I really enjoyed my stay in Lille, the food, the architecture, history, walkability, the good value hotel. The warm, friendly young woman at the desk suggested I ride the subway to the Sunday market, I was so glad I did, even though it was crowded, per her advice, got food at the indoors stalls. When I come back to Lille, I’ll gladly return to the Rosa Hotel, which is such a great value.
I was a bit concerned that in the night I’d forget about the small step down from the bathroom, but ended up not being a problem.
Central location from Eurostar, for Lille itself and the Metro.Tea, coffee and snacks available at all times.
The room had all that you requured but it was on the small side, bed was comfortable
Very clean and great location
Needs more hooks for coats, etc, and shower only lukewarm on the 2nd morning .
