    • Brilliant location Friendly helpful staff Easy to navigate and good communication from hotel prior to arrival Good value simple breakfast
    • I had mixed feelings after reading the reviews and I wasn’t sure about this hotel, but I am so glad we came and stayed here. THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, right in the city centre, we were able to check in early and all the staff were absolutely amazing! The room was on the last floor, spotless clean, bed and pillows were great. Breakfast was also really good: you had a very nice variety of a continental one ( yup no unhealthy and greasy bacon and sausages in Europe!!) .Honestly this stay was amazing and it was mainly because of the people working here, kind and attentive, always ready to help. If you come to Bordeaux, you should stay here
    • The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location was very central and the staff very pleasant. Very thin walls so lots of noise from other guests. I was disappointed after paying 9 euros for breakfast that nothing was replenished and we were left with one croissant and a cup of coffee, no ham or cheese as advertised

    Cons -

    • Small but perfectly functional single room & bed 0500 delivery to premises with pallets being moved around unable to avoid the noise
    • Everything was perfect. If you are a light sleeper like me, earplugs might be needed

Great hotel in the heart of Bordeaux, in walking distance to the St Antoane Cathedral, main shopping street, the Opera Theatre and well connected with public transport to the airport.

The location is superb, right downtown in the pedestrian zone. Since we like to sleep with open windows, we closed the windows when the garbage trucks and street cleaners started. Staff was very helpful, helped us with a restaurant reservation.

    The beds. Tired mattresses.

Centrally located, breakfast was good and the staff were very nice.

The elevator starts on the 2nd floor and does not go to the top floor. If you carrying luggage, you'll have to do it up the stairway.

Great location, great breakfast, friendly staff.

    8AprilPosted on: 9-19-2025

The location was great although it's on a street with local shops so it gets quite empty at night. I felt totally safe but if you want an area that is more lively then perhaps stay elsewhere or closer to the busy streets. The staff were super nice.

The hotel itself is a little run down and needs some TLC but nothing major. I would stay there again if needed.

    Location was excellent!

Cramped rooms and no lift… but in France this is expected!

    7RobertPosted on: 9-12-2025

    location , helpful staff

    breakfast fairly basic.

    8PaulPosted on: 9-11-2025

Location. For the money don't expect a champagne lifestyle but it's so close to everything. What a great place. So many trams to get around, tickets in hotel.

Excellent location, clean and staff we’re amazing

    The stairs !

This hotel is right in the centre of Bordeaux, convenient for anything you might want to do. There’s a tram line just a few seconds away as well although it was an easy and pleasant walk to the hotel from the train station. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything you’d expect. The staff were very friendly.

I stayed at the front of the hotel looking over the street. There were other options so it was my choice, but it was quite noisy.

    9AnnaPosted on: 8-31-2025

Great staff - really helpful, beds were comfortable

The only minus is that the elevator doesn’t go to the 4th floor

    6OferPosted on: 8-27-2025

    The location and the stuy

The room was small, not really clean, no air conditioning , you have to climb the stairs although they have elevator but its not from the desl level and not all the to the fourth floor

    8SimonPosted on: 8-27-2025

Location, staff, were great, couldn't do enough to help.Booked on arrival as the other property wasn't what we expected.

Temperatures were in the 30° and the room was very warm at night.

    5MirandaPosted on: 8-16-2025

    Great staff and excellent location

    No aircon

    10ShaunPosted on: 8-14-2025

Excellent location, clean functional , well equiped and furnished bedroom, bathroom, common areas.

With temperatures at 40 degrees of course I would have preferred to have aircon BUT this is a 2 star budget hotel which represents superb value and exceeds it's star rating in every other aspect so this is not in anyway a complaint.

    8RebeccaPosted on: 8-8-2025

The location is great, the staff are wonderful and the room was fine. The shower could use a good scrub and there weren't any drawers for storage. Breakfast was simple but very much appreciated. Would book again.

nice old fashioned hotel on a pedestrian street. My 'basic' room was nice.
