Hotel de L'Opéra is located in the center of Bordeaux, opposite Le Grand Theater de Bordeaux, 1148 feet from Place des Quinconces. It offers affordable accommodations and free WiFi access. Each soundproofed rooms are in a simple style and is equipped with cable TV and a private bathroom. Some of the rooms have balconies that overlook the city. Breakfast is available daily in the dining area or in the comfort of your room. There is a 24-hour front desk service and an elevator that can take guests to their room. Hotel de L’Opéra is a few yards from the Quinconces Tram Station, which links directly to Saint-Jean Train Station, the airport shuttle bus stop and all the major sites.

- Great location and super quiet - for budget accommodation / hard to complain If they repainted the room walls got new towels and steam cleaned or replaced the carpet - this place would be superb
- Great location right in the city centre. The hotel is an old building and the rooms are dated but are fit for purpose. I was there for a sports game so it fit the bill nicely. Do not expect the Ritz. Great location at a very reasonable cost.

- The shower took a bit of adjusting to get right but once I figured that out it was all good.
- excessively complicated keys to enter building. toilet makes a lot of noise when you flush. No lobby - we had to get keys in other building. shower had bursts of cold/hot water
