Very cozy bar and restaurant. Good breakfast.

Cold ( fridge temperature) scrambled egg at breakfast time!!!

Conveniently located at the lake with ample parking for guests. The room was spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities expected from a 4 star hotel and more. Decent breakfast and helpful personnel.

My one complaint was that the room was much too warm and the AC did next to nothing. The restaurant is mediocre at best.

We have stayed here several times because it’s convenient, clean, modern and friendly.

Pool was gettijg work done so we couldn’t use it. We stayed 3 nights but when you refill the pool it takes time to heat up again so we couldn’t go in for all of our stay. Should of warned people beforehand

- Extra points for the video arcade game, baby foot and "pétanque" : nice opportunities to play.- Great breakfast- Very kind and friendly (English speaking) staff- Dispenser with sparkling water

Plenty of free parking on a code-secured lot! Proximity to tram for Bordeaux city access and the beautiful lake for sunset dog walks. Dog welcomed, all staff kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is varied and very good although the coffee machine was erratic. Bed was very comfortable and the sofa/cot was adequately comfortable even for an adult.

Breakfast room needs more staff on Saturday July mornings! They did an amazing job but need an extra pair of hands or two.

Everything about the hotel itself was fairly average, the staff were helpful, but the facilities seem dated and never updated. It does not look anything like the pictures.

Great place to stay and take easy tram into city center so no need to drive there.Also great breakfast and nice staff.

Nice welcome . Room exactly as described. Secure parking . Hotel looks much better on the inside than the outside. Lovely friendly staff and food was good. Would stay again .

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. Near shops ,tram,dog walking space and the lake.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Secure parking within the grounds was helpful.

Some of the same problems remain. The carpets were dirty, as was the entire room in general. If you're just stopping for the night to sleep, the hotel is okay, but the price is definitely not. They charge more than it’s worth. For a Novotel, the standard is quite low. I most likely won’t be coming back.

This wasn’t my first stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, the issues remain the same. The shower drain in the bathroom was clogged, causing water to overflow during showers. The carpets were dirty, and there were never enough towels for more than two people. If you're just stopping for the night to sleep, the hotel is okay, but the price is definitely not. Oh dear Novotel! It is a while since we stayed at a Novotel and we were shocked to find our room did not match the price in any way. No drinking water in the room, nothing in the fridge, no hygiene bags in the toilet, not one English speaking channel on the tv and the pillows were hideously uncomfortable. The restaurant had a poor choice of food in the evening and was playing music too loud to have a conversation. In short just not the Novotel we remember sorry we will not be staying at any Novotel in future it's to expensive for very little offering.

Missing sleepers

Close to the motorway, it was easy to find. Car park was secure and easy for a large vehicle like mine. The rooms were cleaned and comfortable, the food was good. Highly recommended.

WE COULD NOT EAT IN THE RESTAURANT AS THERE WAS A CONFERENCE!!! NOR COULD WE HAVE ROOM SERVICE! . If we had known this we would have stayed elsewhere. We should have been informed of this beforehand. We have always used this Novotel for the convenience after a long drive from the UK to rest, eat and then sleep in one place.

No shelf in shower to place shampoo or soap, overlooked carpark instead of lake. Very minimal room between side of bed and wall to get out. Bed tax was 7.20 euros for 2 people

Convenient location and parking. Good access by tram to centre of Bordeaux. Pleasant outdoor terrace. Helpful friendly reception staff.

Have stayed several times and if we’ve have had to use the hotel restaurant have always found it disappointing.
