Hôtel de Sèze & Spa Bordeaux Centre

Nice facilities and an excellent, helpful staff. Good location for exploring the town.

The two rooms in our party were in different areas of the hotel but both looked out on dark air shafts. I thought that the more expensive class of room that we selected would have given us better rooms. Perhaps they save those rooms for Frenchmen.

We loved the room for our family of 4. The suite was perfect, great height and lighting of the entire square.

The noise at night of some groups.

The hotel is well located in the center of Bordeaux, our room was spacious with good air conditioning, and a spacious bathroom with walk in shower and two washbasins.The buffet breakfast was good, in particular the Orange juice, which is freshly squeezed.

The restaurant has a poor selection of dishes and is not well patronised,

Lobby staff were pretentious. Not overly helpful in explaining parking, morning breakfast, etc. Morning breakfast was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. A bit overpriced for services provided. No free water or coffee in room.

The bar staff was not very friendly and seemed to not want to wait on you.

Such a great hotel, the location is near perfect, walking distance to everything and the tram to St. Jean. What makes this hotel, though, is the caring staff. We had a minor issue, which caused us to lose our room, not their fault, but another guest who didn't vacate the room 6 months ago. They put us at another very nice hotel and even accompanied us to the hotel. That should have been enough. We were quite happy with how they handled the situation. They went even further, above and beyond, as they upgraded our room this visit and left a handwritten note of appreciation of our loyalty. How could we not be loyal to such a great Hotel and staff. They even had cushy dog beds for our teckels! Amazing!!

That we could stay longer!

The fact that the Hotel moved us to a very nice alternative. The staff was ex ceptional at both facilities, Iand we were pleased at how they DID take great care and were very apologetic.

The hotel had to move us to another hotel because there was a guest that didn't want to check out as planned and we were inconvenienced. Not sure about that guest but we are regular guests.
