Pros +
- Beautiful and convenient area. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff
- Close to shopping
- Extensive black mold and moldy smell in both rooms we rented. Our mother-in-law was able to move into a better room, but for us there were only two options that were just as smelly and moldy.
Cons -
- Difficult to reach by car. No parking. No warning or suggestions in the booking about access. Time consuming and frustrating to figure out how to get to hotel.
- Shower had a lot of mold in it and was horrible
- We did not get a response for our written complaint to the owner

excellent location, 4 blocks from train station, lots of restaurant options. We didn’t try the breakfast ( $15!!) but several good coffee shops nearby. Very helpful staff. Make sure your phone is powered up when you arrive since that is the only way to get into your room. We found that odd…hope it isn’t t the way of the future.
Convenient location and good value for the money. Small comfortable room, breakfast was sufficient.
Location was terrific. Room was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t have the breakfast because we didn’t want to eat a lot
The location right on one of the main streets in the historic city center was ideal. Although small, the room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The concierge was also very helpful.
Location is great. The room was also quite large and pleasant.
Breakfast did not offer too many opportunities. When someone at a higher floor flushed the toilet, a bad smell popped up in my bathroom. Shutting down doors helped mitigating the problem.
The room was a free upgrade and large. Cleanliness was exceptional.
Hallways could use some paint and flooring upgrades.
Alexandra was wonderful.
The bathroom was extremely narrow; when sitting on the toilet, one’s knees hit the wall (I am only 5’6”); shower had a bit of mould…..
Location is perfect!
It is on the Main Street so it is noisy and too much light go through the window. The French morning staff at the reception was rude and not polite. Quite the opposite the girl in the afternoon and next day in the morning, such a nice and polite girl.
Possibility to leave luggage during the day with toilet available.Location - very centric Basic functional room
Very expensive for what it is (basic hotel) but was during Avignon festival.Breakfast room and buffet not appealing. No shampoo/conditioner but gel douche
I had a great room (101, I believe) with a nice view off of the side of the hotel. The air conditioning was excellent considering how hot Avignon was in July. I underestimated when booking the hotel how fantastic the location is, you are really right in the center of Avignon, so it's very safe and there are many food places nearby. I would stay here again.
I passed on the breakfast as it didn't look worth the price. I asked if I could just grab a coffee (from the machine), but no. Not a big deal, but I like when hotels are a bit more generous with tea and coffee.
I was very happy with the staff at the front desk. I enjoyed my stay as it is so well located, 10 mn walking straight from the station, next to carrefour supermarket, next to restaurants and the Palais des Papes, very happy and will go back. I’m French but the staff speaks English which is great.
I just would have loved to have a safe!
Clean & very centrally located
It was very hot in Avignon the days that I stay there and the hotel room’s air conditioning was not adequate to keep the room cool. It was acceptable but at night especially I was hot.
Air conditioning. Comfy beds. Large room
Easy walk from train station and comfortable room. Breakfast nice
Digital key was awkward but we eventually figured it out. I get it—everyone uses their phone so put the key on the phone.
Great location
Breakfast was disappointing. Not a good selection for 24 euros.
Location was perfect! Beds were comfortable. Staff was helpful.
Had to carry bags since old Avignon closed down for cars after 11am. The AC was not working great and it was hot in the night. Parking was a quick 10 min walk.
Location! A few steps away from the central clock tower / theatre square on the Main Street Rue Republic. Easy to find. Lovely, helpful staff. We were in room 404 which has a wonderful view. Not expensive.
Nothing to complain about!
