Cons -
- Lift broken. No hot water
- Evening meals are a challenge of season as only one place serving pizza open. Most of the eateries are open for lunch
- They states they did not have room available at all even though it was booked weeks in advance. I complained and they gave us tiny room at end of hotel in the attic. Not pleased at all with this booking.

Nothing. The property is overrated. It is a two star hotel at most. Do not stay at this hotel. Staff was not friendly. Room is unacceptable for a 4 star rating.
Everything. Nothing was as advertised.
Location - two minutes from the Central train station and the hotel leads you down the main street to the square. Restaurants/stores all close by. The courtyard was beautiful, lovely quaint building. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room we had was spacious but a little tired, could use a makeover to freshen it up.
The beautiful building, especially the courtyard
The breakfast arrangements were chaotic. Only 2 staff members, so crockery etc always running out, air of panic on their part was palpable.
Location is great as it's very close to the main street. Very large parking so no problem any time. We were upgraded upon arrival to a huge room with 2 floors. It's excellent for romantic stays. Staff is responsive and pro-active. Hotel is indeed a converted cloister which gives him atmosphere.

This was our second time at this hotel and it again met all expectations. There is ample on site parking, the setting of the old abbey/convent is beautiful but then you have the roof top terrace with the pool and the modern hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern and the balconies are great. the location is excellent for the city centre.
We liked everything and will definitely return.
The building was pretty and historic
Room was small , heat not available, spiders in bathroom , followed a mouse down the hall on the semi outdoor space Pool could be heated
I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The property is in serious need of a deep clean and general maintenance. We established we were staying in the ‘newer’ part of the hotel which in all honesty felt and looked like a prison Several elements of the room were either broken or in poor condition: the card socket for the lights was broken and temperamental on arrival, the wall radiator wasn’t secured properly, the bathroom tap was faulty, there was mould on the ceiling of the shower and both the patio doors and outdoor shutters were difficult to open and close. The bathroom grout was also very dirty and clearly overdue for replacement, which gave the bathroom an unhygienic feel. It’s a shame, as with some proper care and investment, this hotel could be much more inviting. Unfortunately, as it stands, I wouldn’t return or recommend it until significant improvements are made.
Fab location. Fab ambience.
Need better bar facility. Be nice to come back and finish sh off event ng in hotel bar
Location as great, spacious rooms.
Had to carry our bags in stairs, to get to the bathroom we had to go down stairs. Bathroom was very small and couldn’t stand in shower due to ceiling height. Internet didn’t work in her unit.
Excellent value hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff. Location is very close to the action.
The location is perfect. Steps from the railway station and at the entrance of the historical center. The breakfast is not on the four-star-hotel level but decent. Good air conditioning and wifi.
The main disappointment was the look of the room. The building, the courtyard, and the restaurant are beautiful, however the rooms look like student dorms, the furniture is old, and generally you get the feeling of shabby but not chic. The bathroom seems to have all necessities, yet the shower did not work well and the bath was clogged.
This is a fabulous hotel. Beautifully maintained historic property. Huge and great facilities, including a pool, courtyards. Beautiful restaurants and gardens.
the room was a bit small and the AC was not super efficient but the hotel itself is magnificent and we would have no hesitation staying here again.
Parking, location
Shower
Location in old town and easy access to trains
Claims to be air conditioned but very inadequate. Probably never blew 80F in room.
Great stay, friendly staff, good location. Would stay again.
If you have luggage, drop off at the front of the hotel before parking. Long trek to the frond across gravel. Very minor issue!
Beautiful historic hotel near train station and convenient to downtown shops and restaurants
WC downstairs from the rest of the room
Excellent location in the old town of Avignon, close to railway and bus station, tourist information office and all the sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the historical setting of the hotel, the old chapel and garden.Room was large, with a balcony to the courtyard. Good greakfast.
We don't have any complaints about this hotel.
