Pros +
- I am fond of small familiar hotels ran by the owner, even if the amenities are not the same as those in a typical hotel. We had a charming big room (accessible via two sets of old stairs), with lots of space, good heating, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is small but perfectly functional. The place is very clean. Frédéric, the owner, was very helpful upon arrival, told us where to park, recommended some restaurants and helped us get situated. And the location of the hotel, on a quiet street around the corner of a main street, is ideal.
- We loved everything about the property. Frederic was a delight to get to know and talk to with lots of good suggestions for our stay. The location was perfect. Close to the train but only a 10-15 minute walk to everything we wanted to see and do The room was comfortable and spacious . I highly recommend .

Cons -
- It was quite cold in the bathroom (Dec 31). There is a small heater but it turns off after a few minutes. This should be changed. Also, those little bags of shampoo/body gel are impractical and generate waste. I suggest having refillable bottles of shampoo and gel attached to the wall, particularly since there is no shelf to put bottles or anything on. Breakfast could be a little better (soft boiled eggs, more savory food) for the 12 EUR price.
- We enjoyed everything.
- The amenities are not there. 3 stars hotel have much more than 2 small bags of combined shampoo and body wash. Towels are off white. It is 1 star hotel worth

The coffee was excellent because we could self-serve and get the size of coffee that met our preference. Breakfast was ready on time and had a variety of choices.
We enjoyed everything about our experience. One suggestion would be to provide written directions to operate the air conditioner.
Great location. We were there only one night but it was easy to get in even though we arrived by train late in the evening. Frederic was so helpful in helping us figure out how to get to our next destination.
Excellent location - close to the center of Avignon but on a side street so it was quiet. The place and rooms were very clean and new.
Our bathroom and shower were very small. We are used to small bathrooms in Europe, but it was very tight. Not a huge deal but it made showering a challenge
Owner/front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Convenient location.
Nothing in particular.
Convenient to center and train station, very accommodating, comfortable, clean and an excellent breakfast
Great location, in center of the town but also on a quiet street, short walk to lots of great restaurants and shops. Frederic was very accommodating and provided good information about what to do and where to go! Was a lovely stay!
It’s a lovely little hotel right of the main promenade and 5 minutes walk from the train station. We were greeted by the very personable owner Frédérique and his beautiful and very large cat, Topaz. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was an excellent addition to our stay.
The bathroom was way too small and there was no small fridge or kettle but the space was okay for a short stay overnight.
The staff were very helpful with my luggage and tips on what to see and where to eat.
Location, value for money and problem solving attitude of the owner.
All good.
Great location a 1 minute walk to main visitors area, and 1-5 minutes to multiple museums, helpful staff. Our “family” room had drawbacks (see below) BUT was also very roomy, with comfortable beds. Our child loved the cats who wandered through and hung out in the lobby very much. Communications were good.
I do not know how much of the issue was a damp winter environment in fairness, but the ground floor family room- which seemed incredibly clean- was damp/clammy and generally a bit too cold in spite of running the heater. It smelled mildew-y or musty - you got used to it when in the room but noticed it on return it stayed on clothes noticeably. My child became ill so we spent more time IN the room than we planned, otherwise it may have been a bit less noticeable. I think we would have liked to have a shower curtain as the walk in shower wet the floor in spite of efforts not to splash much. I’d certainly consider staying again but would look into a different room or discuss the room condition.
Location was good, close to main street, inside the walls of the city. Room and bathroom were clean. We were able to have a late checkin.
Room was cold, A/C was not working (via remote), reception was closed after 7.30pm no one to ask, parking was available but with extra cost.
Very welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Central location. Easy walk to the station.
I can't think of anything I disliked.
I was really happy with this little hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great. Easy walking distance from the train station and easy walking to all the sites and restaurants. Perfect. Our room was small, as are all European hotel rooms, but very clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for a great price. The aircon worked and the water was hot. The shower is handheld which was a little weird for us but no biggie. Breakfast is available but we didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. The breakfast room looked really nice though.
Nothing. They have cats in reception which might put some off but it did not bother us. They are cute cats.
Beautifully decorated, lots of character. Beautiful room. Nice staff and location good.
Reception closes in the middle of day so had to find somewhere to store my luggage. Breakfast could have had more choices.
The hotel was centrally located in the heart of Avignon, with many sightseeing spots and restaurants within walking distance. It was also less than a 10-minute walk from the train station. If you're arriving by car, accessing the hotel can be a bit tricky, as the road directly in front of it is restricted to permitted local residents and commercial vehicles. However, you can park about 10 meters (30 feet) from the hotel entrance, across the road. During my stay, we were welcomed by three beautiful, friendly cats. The hotel manager didn’t speak fluent English, but he was warm and friendly, and he took the time to point out sightseeing spots, restaurants, and shopping areas on the town map.Contrary to my expectations, the room was quite spacious and, of course, very clean. Although there wasn’t a bathtub, the bathroom was still large.
Honestly, I felt the hotel breakfast wasn’t quite worth the price. I’d recommend eating at one of the many nearby restaurants or cafes instead. Also, be aware that (I think) the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so bringing large, heavy bags could be challenging.
It was a good location, and the staff was helpful and friendly. He was great with giving us information for our particular needs.
The room was extremely spartan. A little warmth would be a big improvement.
