Friendly staff. Good location and good sized rooms.

No body lotion or hair conditioner in room. These are basic amenities for the comfort of the guests and should be provided.

Outstanding location . Just outside of the ancient stone wall and the old city of Avignon. Also within walking distance to the train station. Staff is super friendly and bar/restaurant is excellent with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

No complaints about this hotel at all. I have stayed here several times and will stay here again.

The room was as advertised. It was ready when we arrived. The staff was very helpful -- recommending restaurants for lunch and dinner and marking them on a map for us. Another staff member helped me get coffee to take to the room.

There was some construction noise around 8 AM, but that is to be expected.

The room wasn't vacuumed very well and had dog hair on the carpet. The people at the front desk weren't the friendliest.

The location was very close to the train station, so was easy to get to other destinations. The room was modern and quite comfortable for a few night stay. There were many electronic sockets to charge devices. And the WiFi worked very well.

It was not as close to restaurants as staying in town. But we could walk 10 to 15 minutes and get to the center of town.

Location of this hotel. Not far from the old town. We can just walk from the hotel to explore old town. You can park your car into hotel parking building or if you have a tall car like 190 heights, you can just choose parking building next to the hotel. All the staff are very welcome and helpful. Clean room, free wifi.

Well situated, nice and welcoming staff. Books and games in the lobby keep kids busy while adults can relax.

Very clean, very good ambiance, swimming pool open year round, very nice breakfast, staff is very polite and always ready to help. Baggage storage is great - staff helped with our bags and we could roam the city worry free , room was very comfortable, very nice soaps fully stocked in the room unlike other hotels, Great location next to train station, I would go there again just for the breakfast in which everything was well prepared and efficiently laid out.

Good bar and nice selection of quality wine. Room was comfortable with nice bathroom. Good location just outside the old city and in close proximity to the train station.

The restaurant meal was not of the standard we expected for the price. We dines in the old town after that. There was a strong smell of body odour from some of the cleaning staff that was very unpleasant.

The secure parking, spacious room, and convenient location were all excellent.

Our room lacked an adequate supply of milk and traditional tea.

Worst stay with Novotel

We were first offeree with a dirty room, there were stains on the toilet seat, in the bathroom sink and also on the chair. The room was clearly not cleaned thoroughly before letting us in. After we complained, they then changed another new room for us. Despite having the “do not disturb” sign hanging on the door, the cleaner still came in. The room was also noisy, you could hear people in and out slamming their doors and the traffic from outside. We wanted to book a massage session at the spa in the hotel but the staffs in the spa could not speak English and the hotel receptionist was reluctant to help with the communication. The gym was extremely hot, there was not air flow in the gym.

I’ve stayed here several times. The hotel is great, rooms clean and comfy and location perfect. I love the fresh water machines on every floor.

We were directly above a control technique type room which made a low humming noise. I checked the next day and it is a pump room in the spa for the pool and jacuzzi. I believe we were room 115 at the end of hallway. I hung the do not disturb sign on the door, yet the cleaner knocked loudly several times and woke us up. I pointed to the sign and she said, well some guests forget to remove it when they go out. It was 10am and we had an awful night, so were trying to rest. Regardless, if the sign is there, she should not knock before departure time.
