Pros +
- Big beds excellent breakfast
- Breakfast fare was very nice and included with the room. The hotel location is very convenient to the train station, car rentals, and historic city center.
- The location is next to the train station, reserved parking is provided in need. Staff are friendly and responsive.
Cons -
- Too close to the tracks
- The exterior of the hotel is poor, but the rest of the hotel is very nice and clean. The hotel is immediately adjacent to the train station and it can be somewhat noisy.
- The rooms in the main house look great but we were put in a separate side unit and it was not very nice. Floors not cleaned well either.

Great location.

Location: close to historical center, can get there by foot
Again location: railway station is your neighbor. You better close the windows for the night. In our room the air conditioning wasn’t working. For the 1st of June it was bearable brace yourselves if you come in the middle of summer.
Practically nothing the room being infested by bedbugs, restless couple nights, unable to sleep, the smell of the mattress is another story, trying to get fresh air sadly train all night so I was forced to close the window. customer service at least upon arrival unwelcoming.
I have been solo traveling all over France for the last couple months-I was like lucky enough haven’t encounter anything to complain about, always excellent and welcoming customer service.I could have brushed off all other issues, but the bedbugs and the musty smell of the mattress took my peace of mind.
The gentleman on check in was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was clean but basic.
Hadn’t realised how close to the train station we were- trains going past throughout the night kept us away.
The room is very spacious, the breakfast is like banquets - absolutely delicious and with a great variety. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.
The bathroom could have somewhere for hanging the towels.
This is a charming hotel. We had the room with the balcony overlooking the entrance and the little garden. The room was small, but manageable. Breakfasts were nice--plenty of choices. We were right by the train tracks & could hear the freight trains, but I happen to like the sound of trains.
I would have liked a more relaxed breakfast. The TV news was on the whole time. The last thing I want to confront on waking is the news.
The breakfast room and food were nice
When we pulled up outside the property I thought it was a derelict building, all the paintwork was peeling off and it looked like a slum. Our room was in an annex, the toilet pan was black and disgusting, the shower was the same and j refused to use it. The area immediately around the property was very run down too.
The staff were excellent, very welcoming and happy for us to leave the car on our last day at the hotel so we could explore more of the city. The breakfast was fantastic, and the location is really accessible for exploring Avignon.
Breakfast was very good indeed and dining room etc was excellent. Staff were very obliging.
Bedroom was extremely small and cramped. Unable to walk around one side of the bed.No bulb in bedside lamp and stain on duvet. On arrival at room my wife had to clean the toilet seat , since there was excrement on it.Shower cubicle extremely small, especially with shower curtain in the way. This was room number 10, and assume it is used for one night only guests. We would have requested a different room or refund if our stay had been longer.
Our studio was clean, comfortable bed and hot shower. Awesome breakfast, lovely courtyard to sit and relax. The staff are helpful and friendly. People mention the proximity to the train but it did not bother us at all, nice and close to walk to the old city.
Nothing really.
Great location, friendly staff, and a lovely little courtyard for breakfasts.
The room was a small studio in a quiet part of the hotel. The breakfast was really good and there was many choices in the buffet. The attendant was super friendly and funny. The shower gel and shampoo were nice.
We chose that room and paid more to have an extra large bed. However, it was rather small, at 140 cm wide. The street approach of the hotel is a bit grungy and un-attractive, but the backyard/garden is great.
I am so happy I chose this hotel for my short stay in Avignon: the location, the comfort as well as the breakfast selection.
The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was a 2 minute walk from the train station, which we used regularly. It was a short walk from the town entrance and restaurants. It is a great hotel if you are planning on staying for a short period of time.
The rooms were very small, which is not very clear on their website/booking.com, unless I personally missed something. You are right on the train tracks, so if you are not a light sleeper, you will not enjoy your stay. With it being a small hotel, the rooms are also very on top of each other, so you can hear your neighbours if they have a loud conversation or decide to sing (actually happened).
Avoid
Dirty room with used sanitary pad in bathroom bin. Hôtel is next to a railway bridge so you hear the trains very loudly. Paid extra for parking.
Breakfast was brilliant and staff helpful
How close it was to the train track - trains woke us up throughout the night!!
location excellent - host very helpful on arrival- spent time with us explaining the map of local places to visit. Lovely garden for breakfast and parking right there. a short walk to the main visiting places.
