Right in the center of Hamburg, situated between the Alster lake and the Planten un Blomen grounds, this hotel makes for the perfect base from which to explore Hamburg. The traditional Hotel Baseler Hof offers cozy, warmly-lit rooms with private bathrooms with wireless internet access. To start your day, enjoy the excellent breakfast buffet. In the evening, visit the hotel restaurant and wine bar Kleinhuis, which offers over 40 wines and many varieties of coffees, teas and cake. Dammtor train station, the shopping streets and the CCH conference center are all within walking distance. - The bed was not comfortable and was 2 doubles pushed together. The blinds let too much light in. The bathroom was cramped.
