Great location central to lots of sightseeing and attractions and U Bahn St. Pauli. Fantastic breakfast offered. Nice clean room, decent bed, pretty quiet.

My stay at hotel commodore was ok.The room was clean, and it had everything I needed.The hotel is at St. Pauli, which I personally liked. It is a bit sketchy at places, but there are tons of great restaurants and bars close by.

The room was very small. It is partially my fault, that I have not thoroughly checked the room size, but even for one person it was a bit too small to be comfortable.The room was located in the stairwell and was the only one with a manual key. It did not really affect anything, but it was just contributed to the feeling of being less valued.The room had a window facing directly into the street, and because it was hot it was not an option to close it. Directly under it people were smoking at the hotel entrance, so the room frequently smelled of cigarettes.That said, still, for that price in Hamburg maybe it is alright. It was just not aligned with my expectations.

The room and bed were spacious, the check-in was quick, staff was friendly. The location is great, only a few minutes to the Reeperbahn by foot and still quiet during the night. The house keeping was also very thorough and attentive (left the room after 3pm and still got the room cleaned, not something I experienced in every other hotel). There is also a big wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers.

There is only one room key for two people, which is a bit cumbersome if both want to do different things and return at different times. Nitpicking: The room didn't have a water cooker, AC or safe, which one might expect.

Bed sheets horrible quality. They didn’t mention the elevator was not working until the check in was done, and gave me a room in the 3rd floor. After complaining it turns out there were rooms in the main floor

Friendly staff and good location. I accidentally made a mark on the table in our room, told the staff - later same day they had fixed it. No extra charge and a friendly goodbye. Now that's a great service. Nice hotel overall for the price range. I would definitely stay here again

Free parking by the hotel, the receptionist was very helpful. Close to McDonalds, KFC and Lidl, close to the metro.

I was missing a small fridge in the room to store my eye drops (they should be stored in the fridge)
