Pros +
- The room was spacious enough and clean, located close to shops and one can easily hop on a bus to the centrum. The staff was professional and I did feel that I got value for my money
- It's difficult to write what I could like in this hotel. I think nothing.
- Very nice staff, close to the city centre, good breakfast
Cons -
- This hotel feels like it's stuck in the 80s. No renovations, and the prices are sky-high.The worst part, I'd say, is the reception; the lack of discretion and the very old elevator located near the reception desk. When I once entered the hotel alone, the receptionist thought I was an intruder and asked for my room key, even though they'd seen me leave. A complete lack of professionalism. When I checked in, the receptionist was surprised that I had a double bed. Maybe she thought I was hiding something and there would be two people in the room, but people simply like large beds. Besides, there weren't any other rooms with single beds, so I don't understand the surprise. Everything in this hotel was old. The comfort was terrible. The value for money was terrible. They seem to be proud of having a hotel near St. Pauli, the brothel district. I don't know what anyone could possibly like there.
- I didn’t like the street noise at 6am but this was not the hotel’s fault.
- The breakfast was very lackluster

Very nice staff, close to the city centre, good breakfast
The hotel provided to me the three principle requirements of a great weekend break: a comfortable bed, a good shower and a great breakfast with a variety of offerings. I also liked the 24-hour residents lounge with comfortable seats and the option of all-night drinks.
I didn’t like the street noise at 6am but this was not the hotel’s fault.
The beds are fine and its easy to dry clothes
The breakfast was very lackluster
Great location! Super close to the U-Bahn and the Dom Festival was just across the streetAnd within walking distance from the St Pauli pier
The doors and windows are not soundproof, you can everything in the streets and in the corridor
Location, staff, room size, close to embankment
steps at the entrance, not convenient with carry-on luggage
the hotel was in the centre.
The rooms were very narrow. There was no air conditioning. There were no slippers. There were spiderwebs and some dirt on the walls.
Lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely come back
Good location. People say St. Pauli is the bohemian part of the city. The reality is that you see a lot of drunk and stoned people on the streets. Anyway, you do not feel insecure, and that is the important thing. The breakfast is decent. They serve good coffee. The staff is helpful and polite.
The rooms are tiny. The bathroom is tiny. The shower is tiny. I mean really tiny. It is almost impossible to take a normal shower. Take this seriously. There is no fridge and AC in the room. The absence of fridge was a huge problem for us. The nights of the neighborhood are a little noisy, with people singing, drinking and playing music.
The room was spatious and clean. Breakfast was good. The reception staff was helpful.
There was no parking at the hotel (although on Booking the parking was supposed to be available). The closest public parking we found was pretty expensive.
Very happy with the stay at this great hotel. Attentive and helpful staff, room a little basic but very comfortable, breakfast exceptional. Also a nice bar and lounge with free coffee available. This was one of the cheapest single occupancy rooms in the area, and its a great location close to Reeperbahn and St Pauli metro stations. Hope to return.
All good. Easy check in, comfortable bed. Nice staff. Good, economy option in hamburg for a short stay.
No issues
How to say ? we was walking in a room with shoes all the time, you didn’t want to take them off. Very old. Carpet….dirty
Hotel has great location. There are many cafes nearby, and the Elbe Tunnel is within walking distance. In the morning a delicious and fresh breakfast awaited us.
Healthy breakfast, quiet room and very warm.
No kitchen at the hotel bar, so no foods are provided for guests.
