Location and Staff

Hotel is violating the Smoking Regulations that require smokers to be contained in a room with closed doors. Hotel staff is intentionally leaving the doors open so that the cigarette smoke fills the entire hotel from bottom floor to top floor to the spa.

I stayed in room number 422.All night somebody walked above.i could not sleep until 2:30. And i called the reception they said there is spa above my room.so they were making the cleaning all night.dont stay under the spa

The staff was very helpful and the room was clean.

The room wasn’t proper sound proofed. There was music early in the morning and could hear people at night.

Rude Staff combined with arrogance and incompetence

Location was great , and that’s about all this place has to offer at outrageous prices . Why do they have a perfume shop in the lobby and do they have stuffed teddy bears everywhere? PsNo porter to help with luggage or bar service for late arrivals after eleven Only two lifts for over a hundred rooms!Rooms facing the garden? There is no garden!! Unless you count a greened otherwise dull courtyard as a garden Not worth the money and best to be avoided

Location and it’s the best hotel in Hamburg

Sorry to say but if you want to use the Restuarant’s and bars in the hotel you have to book way in advance. Lots of local people go there which is great but if the hotel is your home for a while you would eat in the Restuarant’s easily and also to try to get a table in the bar areas is almost impossible

Beautiful building with history. The room felt spacious because of the ceiling high. The staff were all welcoming and very professional. One the staff (Tamara) heard we were celebrating 18 years as a couple, and made a small gesture as a surprise in our room. This small gesture is what’s separating excellent service from good service.

The hotel is perfectly placed and you can reach it within 20-25 minutes from the Airport not depending on the traffic. It is a historical building which makes it even more pleasing. The personnel is helpful and does their best to fulfil your need. What is also important in the old building - the shower and amount of water for washing was perfect!

Even though we came before 15:00 we placed information that our flight is early, we were several times told that the room is to be ready soon, but stayed in Lobby from 9 till 15 with no chance for early checkin (including my personal request for Room upgrade in order to have some rest quicker).

Perfect location, great view, friendly staff.

Consumables in the room were not changed during the stay.

Property was amazing in general. Great customer attention at all times. Lobby and common areas where very nice. Everything was pristine. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Bed and pillows amazing! Bathroom super comfortable as well: hot floor, hot towels, separate tub and shower, large sink great towels and linen.
