INNSiDE by Meliá Hamburg Hafen

I treally loved my stay at the Hotel, the location was perfect, it was close to Speicherstadt, a few miles away, and the attractions nearby were fabulous, easy to find an Über or transport to and fro was also very convenient! I loved that they had room service! The Staff was very professional and friendly. Check in and outs were carried out efficiently! The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the fact the minibar and drinks were free! I truly loved staying here! Their storage spaces were fantastic! I found the blue telefone receivers very chic!

The Room Service could be better, there was a problem getting them on phone, each time i had to wait an hour before they are reachable, at least they should try to be available when they are called.But they were kind and approachable and the breakfast was perfect!The Wifi signal was weak and kept on being disconnected, for the Wifi they scored a bit less with me, hope it can be rectified.

Room was lovely, large, lots of storage & FREE softdrinks minibar was amazeballs. Staff knew where we should go, gave great recommendations and were so so friendly.Beds were sooooo comfy, HUGE fluffy pillows was a great temperature too. Location was fab for exploring a gorgeous city

Pushing for online check in and slow personal check in and check out. I really just want to quickly pick up and drop my key card without endless queues or forced online check in.

The staff is customer focused and very friendly. The breakfast is nicely prepared and has a wide variety plus also really good quality. Softdrinks in the minibar are included.

Parking fee for the car is much to high.

The location of the property is in a real wasteland. Despite there being other hotels nearby there’s not a cafe, bar, restaurant (other than those in the facility) nearby. The walk to town is not far, but is along a very unscenic and run down pathway past car refurbishment lots. In addition, the property made a big deal about a free minibar. It had sweet drinks and two small bottles of water (I expect a bottle of water in a hotel) but there was no coffee, not even instant. That being said there was an instant kettle, coffee cups and two tea bags on caffeinated one herbal.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with a nice touch: the mini-bar is included. Breakfast deserves a special mention—it’s fantastic, with plenty of choice and great quality. Altogether, a stay that combines comfort, service, and those little extras that make a difference.

The only area for improvement is the price. While the services are excellent, the rates are on the high side compared to similar hotels. A bit more value for money—either through more competitive pricing or small added perks—would make this place unbeatable.

I would have marked this all as excellent with two exceptions- 1) I arrived fully expecting coffee in the room but there was only fruit tea. The complimentary fridge is lovely but coffee is surely a non negotiable, I can't be the only guest who feels this way :) 2) The breakfast was lovely but charging a child 25 euro to eat (same price as an adult) is a bit steep, he ate a quarter of what I ate.

- I was genuinely surprised by the food. We had a half-board plan and weren’t expecting much for dinner, but it was so good that I regretted having such a big lunch in the city. The breakfast was excellent as well.- The rooms were very clean, and the free minibar had a great selection of drinks. The tea provided in the room was also amazing.- The location was excellent.

- It wasn’t a big issue for us, but I’m mentioning it for travelers who might be expecting these amenities: the room did not have slippers or toothpaste/toothbrush.- There were handprints on the black walls behind the sink. Other than that, the room looked very clean.- I was quite disappointed that they didn’t acknowledge the request I had made. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and we booked the trip specifically for that occasion. I wanted to surprise him with something in the room, so I wrote to the hotel twice but never received a response. I also mentioned it to the reception staff, but no one followed up. That said, it might have been partially my fault as we only booked the hotel a day before.

The room is quiet and spacious. There are two chairs for us. The free mini bar is a plus.

The hotel location is unsatisfactory as we have to take a bus ride to and from the central station. The breakfast is too pricy as there is not much food to choose.

A/C or ventilation is not working well enough, ad it was humid and hot during the night. Some power plugs in the rooms were not working.
