    Pros +

    • The location was great, opposite the St. Pauli market in the Reeperbahn area and thus at a very lively district, and the staff was friendly. The facilities were somewhat old but sufficient.
    • The hotel doesn’t have its own parking space, but there were some public car park nearby to pay 20 euros a day. Location is good but the sound proof of room was a bit poor so that you can hear next door. Generally, it’s still good value.
    • The room was clean and nice.

    Cons -

    • The reception was only open from 11 am to 7 pm, and thus there were no adequate security or safety measures at night, given that access to the hotel entrance was relatively easy. There was no elevator, so access to the rooms in the upper floors was only possible by the stairs. Last but not least, the fees were too high compared to the services and facilities offered.
    • There was a homeless encampment directly in front of the entrance door to the hotel asking people for money. Additionally, the room was unbearably hot and the window had to be open at all times while the outside is very very loud at night.
    • The location was very uncomfortable – there were homeless people all along the street and on both sides of the hotel entrance, which felt scary and unsafe. The toilet seat was broken, and the Wi-Fi connection was weak and kept cutting out.

The staff was friendly, and the room was nice and had everything I needed. I also got a room facing the quiet side, which was a big plus.

The location was very uncomfortable – there were homeless people all along the street and on both sides of the hotel entrance, which felt scary and unsafe. The toilet seat was broken, and the Wi-Fi connection was weak and kept cutting out.

Accommodation is centrally located at Reeperbahn! This is the right place for spending nights out in Hamburg when you need some hours of sleep in between :)Easy check-in/check-out and helpful stuff.Don't be surprised by the outside look - inside is perfectly fine and save.

Noisy neighbours due to thin walls and not particular clean rooms.

    5CarolinePosted on: 4-18-2025

Room was nice and clean and comfortable.

Difficult to get in - nobody at reception and they did not send a code for the machine. There were lots of people outside on the street and I didn’t feel safe waiting in the doorway for the phone to be answered and a code given to me. If I was on my own and arrived in the dark this would have been very scary for a lone female as the hotel is not located in a nice area. The code needs to be sent out in advance so this doesn’t happen. The room did not have a deadbolt on the door so there was no way of fully securing it. If someone wanted to get in with a key they would have been able to which was again a concern for safety.

    Close to the underground station

Check in was horrific. Didn't receive a code for the keyboy so had to call. Staff member was impatient and borderline rude. Didn't seem to have a clue about our booking. Loads of homeless people outside the hotel which is intimidating. Room is very small, basic and compact. Bathroom is tiny. Very noisy and in a rough area. Clean enough. No WiFi, kettle or any other services. Smell of damp in the room. Check in should be easy but it's made really hard.

    The location was good

I was anxious all the time for locking myself out of the hotel because all my time at the hotel, i didn't see any hotel staff, maybe the cleaners. There was no hot water, the machine was broken for coffee and also it was for paying. I was always scared that if I lost the key or didn't carry it on me, I wouldn't know where to start from. It was so cold, not kettle in the room, no hot water anywhere, only downstairs, and sometimes the machine was not working. It was terrible.

It is fine for a 1 night, it was clean, the bathroom was ok, location is close to public transport and touristic places

Thin walls, could hear the screaming of a paid girl brought in by another guest from this famous red-lights street :)

It is quiet and clean hier, good shower and warm blanket.?

    10MonnykePosted on: 2-28-2025

The room was clean, and comfortable; the price is fair. They even allowed us to access the room before the check-in time.

    6NestanPosted on: 1-4-2025

The hotel is located in the of Reeperbahn (which can be good and bad thing, depends what you are looking for).Considering the location room was quiet (it was cold, so windows were closed).Room had all necessities: bed, fresh towels, fresh bed sheets, bathroom, tea kettle and etc. Check in was easy, paid covered parking is available on the opposite side of the street.Price for room was very reasonable, heating worked as expected and hotel personal was available from 11 am- 7 pm.

    - bathroom had very moisty smell- room looks like on the pictures, but quite old already - bathroom had hairs on the walls when we checked in- bathroom size is quite small, thus not comfortable - no elevator available at the hotel, so we needed to carry all bags all the way to 4th floor

    Pleasant

Our room smelled like fish. It was horrible but clean

    7Nr_danPosted on: 11-2-2024

The receptionist was nice and explained everything clearly. The room was clean. Despite the location of the hotel being in the red light area it felt considerably safe but I wouldn't recommend the hotel for solo travellers.

    This is not a hotel

My door didn't lock properly, the 'hotel' had no reception. The shower kept falling apart. Location was very sketchy.

great location, good facilities, quick respond and efficient service

one bedsheet was not very clean, but the reception gave us clean bedsheet immediately and responded quickly

location was good, you can get a good idea of Reeperbahn while you are also not forced to take part, quiet room out back, free hot water for tea in the "lobby"

a bit pricy for the size, free coffee and tea bags would have also been nice and would be minimal effort given the somewhat high price of the room.it's a small hotel, so for leaving luggage during the day a bit more complicated, as you then need to make sure you come back before they leave for the night.

    6LepikovPosted on: 9-23-2024

Ideal location for visiting Reeperbahn Festival, as it is right in the middle of the buzz. Very lovely staff, the place itself is super simple - everything you need for a couple days stay, but nothing extra.

My room had a bit of a damp smell in it, so it was impossible to stay without having the window open. Considering it is city centre and Reeperbahn area, it can be pretty noisy, the hotel walls are not very sound insulating as well.
