Cons -
- - Restaurant was shut during my stay and I was only told that at check in - Gave complimentary water with no bottle opener- Only provided 2 hangers for clothing- Shower head was covered in limescale- The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor because there is no lip to keep the water contained- The black finish in the bathroom is chipping away in the shower and the limscale is more visible around the taps- Pillows are way too soft- Stained towels- Two young female staff members when I first arrived were rude, judgemental and did not make a good first impression
- The staff is horrible and the room was very uncomfortable. Once I checked in and got into the garage, I was confused about which way to go. I eventually found the elevator. It didn’t work. I called the front desk and was told that the elevator wasn’t working and that I had to take the stairs to the third floor. I told them that there was no way that I could carry those bags upstairs. Eventually, the guy came down to the parking lot and took me to another elevator. I still don’t understand why he would tell me that the elevator didn’t work. There should be signs telling guests which way to go. After I made it to the room, it was ice cold. I kept calling the front desk about the room being too cold. They told me that the thermostat in the room couldn’t be changed. It was -2 outside. So, I was freezing and cold the entire time. The shower was also problematic. It was impossible to shower and not get water all over the floor. I spent a lot of time cleaning water off the bathroom floors. The parking situation is also problematic. I paid $25/day for in and out privileges. To enter the garage, you have to ring a ring doorbell (with a camera). Every-time I entered the garage, the staff asked me if was staying there and if I had paid for parking, which was very annoying. On top of that, I had to sit there for 3 mins because the front desk wouldn’t answer the doorbell. I had to call to be let in several times. In order to get out of the garage you have to pull a string! Lastly, there is no staff overnight. So, what are you supposed to do if you get locked out of your room or want to go out late? What if there is an emergency? How can EMS even get into the hotel if the front doors are locked?

Not fresh and they didn’t have control on it to fill them up4-personal does not have uniform, no lab . Nothing to show5
Clean, helpful staff, close to center, good breakfast.

The location
There was some noise coming front the room above and after complaining to the receptionist the problem was solved.
Location, cleanliness and comfort.
Nothing to complain about.
Quite smart and clean
Poor admin- we were checked out for one of our booked rooms in error. Shower poorly designed and always flooded bathroom floor. Attention to detail - no soap at bathroom sink and drinking water never replenished. Breakfast was expensive at €25 pp per day - we ate in nearby supermarket
breakfast was good
no heating in the hotel room when it was freezing cold outside, staff said this was an issue throughout the hotel and there was nothing they could do
Worst hotel experience ever, and...
The room was dirty, eg. lounge chair had some spots thar were not cleaned. The worst thing was the strong drain smell in the room. I asked for room change but that was not possible due to booking situation. I could not spend any time at the room and hadly sleep. I the morning reception personnel did check the room and confirmed the bad smell. I still had to pay full price which was 251 eur per night! I asked for compensation but they did not give any and did not asnwer to my messages.
Clean hotel and spacious room
Shower ...
The staff were helpful and friendly location was great for busses and trains to explore and to and from airport the man at reception was very friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had I'm sorry I do not remember his name we will definitely be coming back and bringing the kids next time the room was clean the shower room was beautiful
I can't say there was anything I didn't like
Nice staff, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed.
A bit thin doors and not so welcoming neighbourhood.
The hotel is generally nice, with a good central location. The room was clean and had a modern design. The staff were friendly.
The room was very cold. When we complained on the second day, we were informed that the heating had been turned off, as it is automatically controlled by the staff and the weather had been mild in the previous days. We were told that the heating was now turned on and that it would take 2–3 hours to reach the set temperature. However, when we came back late in the evening, the room was still cold, even though the thermostat was set to 25°C. It seemed that the heating system in our room was malfunctioning, as we could not hear it running. This was quite unpleasant, especially since the outdoor temperatures during our stay were between 4 °C and 8 °C.Additionally, there was only one water glass in the room, although there were two of us.
Great room, good layout, view, Great design
Always a pleasure staying here. Good location, close to public transport and not too far out from the city centre. Clean and modern look, friendly staff.

As this was my first visit to Hamburg it was brilliant to receive exact travel instructions in a separate email a couple of days before arrival. The location is perfect for public transport connections since the nearest station is on both the underground and overground and only one stop away from the main railway station which is only 15 minutes' walk. I had a very easy trip back from an evening performance at the Elbphilharmonie by bus to a stop just 30 yards from the hotel. Museum mile begins 15 minutes' walk away. My cosy single room was a good size with an armchair and side table. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, proper tea and even a self-serve pancake machine! There is a very good supermarket on the way from/to the under/overground station. I would definitely use the hotel again on a return visit.
The area immediately outside the hotel is under development with an odd smell from drains (I think) but none of this is apparent inside and is presumably only temporary.
Good location. A nice look inside the lobby and the rooms were very nice. Good shower and beds very comfy!
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was the down part of my stay I requested a baby bed for my baby upon arrival the staff told me it’ll be in my room,It wasn’t,I informed the staff at 5pm about the absence of the bed went out for dinner with my husband and baby and Got back at 9pm still no baby bed,I asked again they said they’ll bring it in 15 minutes.Same thing with boiler that should be in every room,I asked 2 different staffs and a cleaner before I could get it,this made my stay really stressful
The staff, absence of boiler in every room
