    Pros +

    • Basic Hotel, no AC, quite simple, not Hotel vibe, more like Apartment Home vibe, antique furniture, cleanliness was greaMany people in the reviews have complained about the road noise, I don't think so, I slept like a baby!
    • It was ok. The room was clean, well-equipped, the staff was nice.
    • Clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, location close to public transport (200 m from bus stop, a few minutes walk to S-Bahn), friendly staff, excellent breakfast with great value for money, sound proof windows. Good commmunication, I asked for directions to the hotel via the messaging service and swiftly got a detailed answer.

    Cons -

    • It's summer, there was no AC, may be problem for people who feel more heat. One request - Please add water to the ameneties, that quite basic requirement for the price quoted.
    • It was cold, and the bed is not comfy.
    • While the windows are soundproof, the doors and walls are less so. You don’t hear the traffic but your neighbours in their rooms and on the corridor. Also wonder why they put a single bed in a room of this size as a double bed would easily fit

Location and vintage style, bed is comfy.

The remote control wasn’t very clean. The bed cover was too thin and too short. But I immediately got a new one once I told the reception.

Easy to find, good secure parking and good location.

No restaurant or bar facilities. Room was ok but no facility for making drinks and without bar / restaurant, no way to get a drink. Walls between rooms are very thin. Woken at 03:00 by someone next door being sick ?

didnt have breakfast, plenty of food options around the hotel

the bar is not very attractive, hotel next to this one had a better bar

    The ambience of the hotel

I think electric kettle should be provided for the visitors in every room. Few overhead lights were not there, refrigerator was not functioning.

    Friendly staff and cleanliness

No kettle to make coffee/tea. Expensive breakfast for what is provided.

24hrs FrontdeskNear stadium and arenaFriendly StaffFree Parking Clean rooms and spacious Clean bathroom good and strong water flow in the shower.

Dimming curtains is useless. Sunlight still go through and light up the room enough to woke you up at 5am ,specially in summer. windows we’re Open in Summer , so you will hear all the Noise from the street and its loud, very disturbing. We dont expect of course air conditioning system in the room since its Hamburg but you kinda need some air in the room to be able to sleep in Summer , so we can close the window. We just try to tolerate the loud noise for 2hrs more Sleep.

    The location was great

The hotel is good but I had problems: the shower in my room wasn't working and they had to change my room. The guy and the blonde receptionist were very kind to me, but the black haired receptionist was extremely rude at all times! It seemed like she was hating me simply because I needed to change rooms, she rudely gave me the new key, I avoided asking her for anything. In the morning I had asked the guy to check the image of when I arrived at the hotel on the camera for security reasons and he said he would be available when I got back but when I came back it was the receptionist with black hair who was at the reception and she denied it, being rude once again. I'm coming to Hamburg again next month but I won't stay in a hotel that has someone at reception who is rude to guests. I was disappointed. She had not very long black hair and wore hoop earrings.

    Very good

The receptionist told me where I can park my car and I listened to her but when I left the hotel I had a parking ticket on the spot advised by the receptionist. No sign on the street about the fact that the parking spot was not allowed for parking.

    Only the location, nothing else.

No air conditioning, old and amortized facility, refrigerator not working.

70/80s style building and rooms (which might not be everyone’s taste) but the rooms are big, bright and very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is not by the city center but on the edge of a nice residential area with a lot of nice restaurants, bars and cafés. Price was a bit high but to be expected as it was the Hamburg marathon and 40k people were attending the event. Would chose the hotel again!

receptionists were very friendly and helpful, room and bathroom were clean, enough space for a solo traveller, curtains to get the room really dark, lighting in bathroom very nice, close to bus station (5min walk) and to train station (10 min walk)

    Good but expensive breakfast!

It was no blackout curtain in the room, in the morning the sun was shining directly in to the room.We woke up around 6 oclock in the morning because of the sun.

The staff was really helpful, i needed a nanny bag service after my checkout and they offer me it FOR FREE.Also the hotel has the best relation price quality in hamburg

If someone is into time travel, this would be a perfect place for you. You are going back in the past, 70s, 80s. In the room from the modern things you will have TV and phone. You will get soap, shampoo, and bag for dirty things. Decore and curtains is a story for itself. In the room was about 35°C and no AC. The only positive thing was stuff that tried to help. But I would say pictures are saying more than words.
