Location across from the Central Train Station, quiet.

Actual room key, like in the old days, that was huge and you leave it with reception. It was quaint for a while then got old quickly. Desk was way too small. wi-fi was awful, unable to maintain a video call for a business call.

Location near train station. Clean and updated bathrooms.

Room is small. Lighting was not good. No AC - a bit stuffy. Too many stairs to get to rooms in back.

Top location at only 60m from Hamburg central station, comfortable room and bathroom

No airco in room, breakfast is OK but a bit high priced (19E/person)

The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. Lots of fruits, yogurt, and many delicious seeded bread.

It was just perfect. And very clean. EXCEPT FOR THE HEAT. I op-ed my windows and requested a fan. The fan noise disguised the loud voices and horns from the street.

The selections of food were outstanding!

My room was very hot. I opened the windows and said the only fan that was available in front of it. My room was also reached by a very roundabout way, lots of twists and turns and steps.

For convenience and access to trains, buses, and restaurants, you can't beat it. Room was small but comfortable.

No coffee service in room. Breakfast was overpriced.

Centrally located across the street from the train station in a bustling neighborhood. Rooms were modern and big enough for one and two people. Very accommodating staff. Overall, highly recommended.

It was kind of a maze of rooms and stairways and I kept getting lost.

Great location directly across the main train station. A lot of great restaurants nearby. Service from staff was great.

The hotel including its furnishings and fixtures are very dated and in need of significant refurbishments. Typical of old properties, the floors creak and the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors which is not good when you're trying to sleep.

The bed wasn't so cozy, but maybe this is something subjective...

Clean, comfortable, and close to Hamburg Central train station. Quiet even though on a busy street with many restaurants, bars, etc. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Complimentary public transportation pass for our stay.

Getting to hotel room was not easy. Hotel has 2 elevators, but neither went from ground floor to the floor for our room. We had to take one elevator to 1st floor, walk with luggage down 6-7 steps, then walk to a different elevator to get to our room. Not very good for anyone with mobility issues. That said, I’m sure the hotel staff will accommodate any special needs, if requested in advance.

Clean and tidy but tired and needs modernisation and decoration

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially at the reception. The hotel itself is very conveniently located and offers a pretty good level of comfort. I had a small single room, which was fine for my purposes (I basically only slept there).

In order to access my room on the second floor I had to cross an area which inclined walking down several steps and I was carrying some heavy stuff - I am sure the staff would have helped, but I didn’t bother to ask. There was a small ramp, but really unusable in my case.

Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was really nice, shower worked well. The transport pass was a nice touch (valid the day you check in plus 2 days after). Location is excellent for transport links - across the road from the main train station with S+U-bahn access, 5 minutes walk to the main bus station and several local bus stops within walking distance.

It's on a main street next to the station so it was quite noisy a lot of the time. The rooms are a little tired and old-fashioned, could do with a spruce. Room entry is with a physical key which you hand in to reception each time you leave - this wasn't a huge issue but a keycard is much more convenient
