The break fast superb and variety meeting the exepctations, room was small but meeting the needs of one occupant and location was central near the central train station

Location

The hotel we booked was full so we were moved to another one. The hotel was on a noisy street with our room overlooking the street. The hotel we originally booked did not overlook a street with traffic. The hotel we were moved to was also further from the railway station- the reason for our original booking as my wife cannot walk very far.

Terrible experience, choose another hotel. We discovered in the morning that our daughter had slept in a bed full of bed bugs. We showed videos and pictures to the man at the reception, who first said that he couldn’t do anything since the manager was asleep at home and he didn’t want to wake her up. After much back and forth, we were promised a 30% refund, which we said was far too low. Almost two weeks later, we still haven't received any compensation, and the hotel is not responding to emails. We have stayed in many different hotels in Hamburg, in similar locations and price ranges, and this was the “low point” so far. Uncomprehending staff, terrible service, and promises of compensation that have not been kept. Additionally, it was extremely hot, with no AC and no possibility to borrow fans. Stay out!"

1- The location is less than a 10 minute walk to the main station and there are restaurants in every direction. 2- There is a small elevator.3- There is a safe and all the necessities. 4- Clean, and no insects.5- The breakfast was sufficient. It was included in the rate of the room.6- The staff was friendly, Koosi was great ???.

The space was a little crampy, making it a bit difficult to open the luggage, but I guess that is what you get for a single bed room.

Basic hotel where you get exactly what you need and expect! Friendly staff and located very close to the central station which means you can get everywhere quickly using public transport (or walking).

Noisy and no air-con. It was very hot during summer time and we have to open the windows and of course, it is noisy and the sun is glaring at us until 10.30pm and start early at 4am. So, hard to catch a good sleep. Lift didn't work and our room as on the 4th floor (top). We had to carry our suitcases up and down!

Staff were unfriendlyFirst night plugs didn’t work. They charged me a ridiculous amount for late checkout and was u accommodating in every regard. Would not recommend or even have them as an option on bookings.com.

Stag party - Room was a bit tight but clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was really good, had everything you needed from meats to cheeses, fresh bread, juice and coffee. Staff were helpful.

Everything. Especially the staff, a very pleasant and caring woman had a good suggestion for a question I had asked. Humanitarian.

There were stairs to get into the place and it was a tight squeeze in the elevator for 2 persons and the luggage. But we made do and it was worth it for a great accomodations.

The room was so close to the train station and Good food options. Breakfast was nice simple buffet style.

Only thing I didn't like was that if you left the hotel you had to hand your room key back in. It just felt awkward handing a key in everytime we left and came back in. Also our room was an emergency exit. Next time I would ask for a different room. I just felt a little uneasy knowing if someone pushes the emergency anyone can come through. I doubt anyone would do it unless a real emergency but still.

The room was very clean, fresh towels every day and a good breakfast room!

Coffee & Tea facilities in the room would have been nice…

The beds were all pull out sofa beds which was a suprize. We had a room with one double bed and two single beds only they were all pull out sofa beds. To make matters worse, the pull out sofa beds were extremely uncomfortable and sagged in the middle making it impossible to have a good night rest.Breakfast was just ok. We have been traveling through Europe the last two weeks and this was our last stop. Every where else breakfast was outstanding and absolutely amazing. Here. It was just ok.Wifi was in and out sometimes.

Nothing really. Well actually, I liked the location and the staff. Other than that, it is a well below average hotel
