- The room was quite spacious and clean! We also had a minifridge! It's not super soundproof but also didn't hear that much. And the location is well connected to the public transport system of Hamburg. A bus stop is less than 5 minutes away. And the value is pretty good!
- The only positive aspect of our stay was the bed and the pillows. It was genuinely comfortable and allowed me to get some rest despite the other issues with the room.
- The woman who cleaned the rooms was incredibly kind and understanding. The shower pressure was really good. There were hot drinks in the room (coffee and tea, 2 of each) and a kettle. The pillows were comfortable and the duvet was thick and comfy. The rooms were clean. The front desk was unmanned when we came, but we called when we arrived and they were quick to respond and open for us so that wasn't a problem. It was quiet for the most part, it's an industrial area so there were some noise during the day from the company next door but wasn't a big issue. The area was fairly close to fast food and grocery stores (10-15min walk), also public transportation in form of bus was available. There were a few parking spaces the hotel managed, (5-6 spots) but filled up quickly so you had to get lucky. There were also public parking spaces around the area that you could use, although they also seemed to fill up quick. Overall a good experience.
Cons -
- Did not get a king bed, instead two single beds we had to manually push against eachother. Also, there is rarely anyone at the reception.
- Unfortunately, almost everything else left much to be desired. The bathroom was particularly disappointing: it was not clean at all, with hair left behind in several places and even insects present, which made the space feel very unhygienic and unpleasant to use. Cleanliness in general was below any acceptable standard, and it gave the impression that the room had not been properly maintained before our arrival.Additionally, the location was very inconvenient. It was far from the city center and main attractions, and reaching the property felt complicated and unsafe at times. For travelers who want easy access to restaurants, shops, or public transport, this is definitely not ideal.Overall, aside from the comfortable bed, the experience was very underwhelming. With better cleaning standards and a clearer description of the location, this place could improve, but as it stands, I would not choose to stay here again nor recommend it to others.
- One of our rooms wasn't cleaned, (1 of 3 which is why I assume it was just a mistake) the previous person forgot to check out (putting their keycard in the check out basket) so I assume the reason why it wasn't cleaned was because they didn't really keep track of who stayed for how long besides the basket of cards, which needs to be improved. As I mentioned before, the woman cleaning apologized a bunch of times and took responsibility for what happened which is commendable. The fridges in the rooms weren't that good, one didn't work, one wasn't really cold and one of our rooms didn't have one. Parking could be an issue if you are unlucky, but atleast they have some! The area did seem a bit sketchy at night but we went out for a walk around 2am and it seemed fairly quiet, only met 2 people on the way, and maybe 3 cars, we were out for maybe an hr. The rooms varied quiet a lot in size and furniture, not a big issue, but good to keep in mind when booking. The keycards lost effect after a day and sometimes it wouldn't register with the door, but eventually after a bunch of tries it seemed to work. If you're on the bottom floor, anyone could access the rooms if your windows are open so make sure to close them if you're not around!

The hotel has friendly staff and a great restaurant. Very nice and helpful people
The hotel is located far from the shopping centers. However, the bus station is nearby.
Easy check in, clean room albeit a bit old. Friendly staff.
The location is a bit far from the center and only reachable by bus. Price was relatively high for a three star hotel.

Bad
There was an issue with our room card and we couldn't get into our room during night. No staff to help, called 8 different numbers we found in the reception, but no one offered help or even answered.
The friendliness of staff, even the cleaner.
We booked 2 days of stay, There is only 1 access card access for 1st day. Our access card doesn't work the 2nd day. We returned at hotel at 1:00pm standing at heavy rain, unable access to the premis. Luckily the staff appeared and enable our access card despite the late night.

Hotel is not so far from the city. A quaint little hotel with own bathroom. Nice and clean

The guy at reception was friendly.
Access to public transport isn’t good at all here. By its location on the map you’d expect it to be in the centre of the city but it’s actually more like suburbs. Better be prepared to have only irregular access to buses that aren’t really reliable. Best to come with your own car or order a taxi.
It was very clean and my room was very quiet.
It is far from the main train-station and the central. It takes nearly 30 min to get to the city center by public transport.
Good price, reasonably clean. The location is fair, as in, not too far away from Berliner Tor, good connections from there. That said, the surrounding area is kind of industrial.
There were several instances of misinformation around our arrival:- We were told that the hotel is closed after 21.00, but nevertheless a room key transfer can be arranged with a call a day before.- The call didn't happen, we had to call ourselves, then we were told once again the arrival is not possible. When we said that their colleague had called prior, then we were told to wait for that one specific colleague to come in.- We were then given instructions to collect the room key upon arrival as the hotel would be closed by then.- Upon arrival (23.00), the key could not be retrieved, since... There was 'a colleague' there after all!So we were told to wait 'two minutes', waited for around 20.That "colleague" strolled by at some point, chatted with someone he knew for a bit, and then finally walked in to the reception.Afore anything else, he made haste to blame us: "You said you were coming at 24"; "booking.com clearly says check-in until 21".On the latter, I must agree - this is indeed there and they quickly let us know this was a problem for them. But we were told it's okay and we can arrange it.Also, I didn't even consider this to be a big deal; this is such a common feature of a hotel, even a small one, to arrange a 24-hour key collection. There are loads of options for this I have seen while traveling but never in my life has this been an issue!I strongly recommend the management to pay attention to this, because otherwise the room was great, tidy and cute.
Staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Room temperature, hot water all good. If I travel to Hamburg again, I will stay there with no doubt!
I really don't have anything to add here. It is a bit far from attractions but many buses passing and the bus station is very close in a walking distance
Really friendly staff, good breakfast and a good hotel room.
The room was big enough, clean and comfortable. The view was awful.
The location is awful, only a petrol station across the street, lot of parking lots around, mostly for trucks, no supermarkets no restaurants.
The first expression of the hotel was confusing, because the building has a very modest appearance and my room situated on the basement floor. However, the room itself was very spaceous, very clean and corresponded in every way to the level promised on the booking.com page. Staff was friendly, brakfast was simple, but fresh and good. However, even for Hamburg, the hotel is fairly overpriced.
Ideal cleanness in 90% of the space
Rotten fridge, spiderweb in some corners, broken parts of the shower
Good sheets for the bed
Not clean window shades. Hot clean bathroom. Funny smell in room
