The location is great, room is clean and staff was very helpfull.

Room was too simple and not modern.

Big room, big bathroom. Great staff - they were all so nice.

We loved everything about our stay. The facilities were great, the room was spotless, with hot water, warm heating, comfortable beds and pillows, and plenty of power outlets. Check-in was very early and check-out was very late, which made everything so much easier. A special mention to the cleaning staff, the woman who cleaned our room was incredibly kind and sweet. We would definitely stay here again.

We got room 2 - you enter it via reception. The receptionist told us to lock the reception whenever we go out / come back in - added stress! The washroom was in the basement, clean but extremely weird and not looking so safe. No elevator! Too expensive for such mediocre facilities, thought the webpage looks stunning

Location is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable.

I could hear the occupants in the adjacent rooms, but the sound was negligible and not bothersome.

no reception 24 hrs .. they provide contact number to call if you require any assistance .. check out box there but info or guide pass to me regarding that, room service lady assisted with that.

Hamburg hotels are very expensive so Steen hotel met our expectations : we were looking for a budget hotel for only one night for a family with 3 kids walking distance to the main train station. We did not need breakfast or anything fancy. We were simply in transit between 2 trains. There are many restaurants in the area. I was mostly worried about the cleanliness due to other reviews but it was ok. Do not expect coffee in the room or any support from the reception. There is simply a room, a TV, a hair dryer, shower and WC. Good beds. Very quiet on the 3rd floor (no elevator).

No reception when we arrived at 18:00 but we called the mobile phone number on the door and the staff came within 5 min.

Poor

We had a terrible experience with the guests from other rooms. They been extremely loud and noisy during the nights. Around 3 in the morning. They slamed the doors around 30 times in a row. Unfortunately this experience made our stay as a bad experience. I m sorry that the staff of the hotel was probably during the nights not available and none of the employees intervened such on avoid of this situation.

Broken window handle. The sink faucet was loose. Mold in the shower. Socket covers broken. Pictures are misleading.

The Location and it was clean

It smelled like smoke in the room. The fauchet on the sink was loose and the shower head was broken off.

I was afraid a little bit because the reviews were so negative but it was better than I expected, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the room was full equipped.
