very nice and healthy breakfast with unexpected choices; a garden of the size you don't see often with centre city hotels; great library!

Spacious room, clean, and tasteful.

The backyard was amazing a patch of forest in the heart of the city! Proximity to the Train station.

The access was a bit difficult because of road works in the area

The staff was super friendly, the location within 10min from Hamburg Central station in a nice neighbourhood, and very close to the lake (check out the boat rentals nearby!!) couldn't be better. A welcome change to all the major chain hotels!

One of the beds was on the very soft side, other than that, all excellent!

Very central accommodation with everything you need for a weekend stay. I stayed in a single room so appreciated the use of the very small space which was smartly dome not to feel claustrophobic.

Relatively high price for the small room but guess this is generally Hamburg issue, not this hotel in particular

Charming little hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. The garden and the library are particularly nice, but the room was also stylish and comfortable.

Beautiful town house hotel close to lake and only 8 mins walk from station. Friendly staff and superb rear garden with food and drinks served in green oasis.

The heat. Was really hot the first night, even the mattress was hot. Was on the 4th floor, up 4 flights of stairs. No elevator. We’re travelling for 6 weeks and have 2 suitcases (1 x big 1 x small each). The heat got us. A portable fan would have been nice. Would be nice to be informed about public transport, buses to catch to get to hotel etc.

Breakfast in the garden was lovely and staff were very kind and professional.

The junior suite in a separate building was a surprise, also no elevator to 4th floor and no air conditioning in the suite. This made the accommodation fairly high priced compared to. Convenience

The location was great and the balcony (although shared) was nice. The double bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.

The hair dryer was not working. The junior suite in general was a bit tired especially the kitchenette. The sofa bed was more like a mattress that was put in the middle of the living room. The living room was not very decorative, didn’t really have much of a seating area or a living space feel. Most importantly the actual suite did not look like the photos on booking.com so I feel a little misled. We had to go outside in order to get to our room. The receptionist had to explain twice how to get there when really all he needed to do was to just go outside with us and point to the building.

Good value for money. Good location.

Sound insulation between the walls is not the best. And stronger lights/lamps would improve the confort. Especially in the bathroom, while doing a make-up.

LOVED everything about this little jewel of a hotel: small, intimate, cozy, location, artsy, attention to detail, great food, and staff was very helpful and lovely.A total surprise and find! Would stay there again—no question!

Outstanding boutique hotel on quiet street close to the train station in artsy district with plenty of shops &. Outdoor cafes and restaurants. Lovely outdoor garden with food and drink service until late evening.

It was unseasonably hot while I was there and no AC, no cross ventilation, so the room got a little stuffy.
