The Cloud One Hamburg-Kontorhaus

Almost everything was great! Very delicious breakfast. Great Bar & Lounge area. Rooms are clean.

TV system was super outdated. No way to connect any device. What's the purpose of TV if you are unable to connect to it :D I don't think tourists are interested in German Television. Also when I asked for an HDMI cable on reception, there was no available. I would recommend upgrading the TV system.

Hotel is in the perfection location to walk to different sights. Was perfect to walk to the Christmas Markets. Close to numerous restaurants. Would stay in the hotel If I ever visit Hamburg again.

The location is great for the Christmas Markets and lots of restaurants nearby. The Hotel has a lovely atmosphere and super clean. Credit to house keeping, its spotless. Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely would stay here again

Good location near an underground stop, restaurant tow about 2 blocks away, and a 20 minute walk from the Elbphilharmonie.

The Cloud was not in the least prepared for a computer “downtime” event. Their computer system failed on the day of our arrival (Dec 13) causing check in times of up to 3 hours. Two staff members (and sometime only one) were left to hand copy passport #’s, credit cards, etc. I personally know of two groups of guests who were given room keys only to find the room already occupied when they opened the door. There was no verbal announcement of what the problem was at the time and there was not enough staff available to speed the process. It was a complete failure of massive proportion. Location, location! it was well decorated although the rooms were extra small. No clue about facilities. One pays less for such a value BUT for a short stay!

the staff is inexperienced, cannot make relevant suggestions or are not interested in making one. the room is too small but if you plan to spend time outside of the hotel it does not matter much, like we did. But the lack of something like drawer or wardrobe is a dealkiller, everything has to stay in the luggage all around. For stays longer than 3 days it is not good. you cannot hang everything in a very narrow hanging space. The breakfast was on the entrance like in a gateway, always crowded, I dont find it comfortable for eating something, there are zillions of backerei around way cheaper than the hotel's breakfast.

Very comfortable and cosy room! Central location, the central station, Speicherstadt and the City Center are within walking distance! The Lounge was also very beautiful and i was able to Check in earlier and enjoy the day!

The property is really nice with bars at the 1st and 10th floor. It is close to city center, very walkable, nice staff and atmosphere. We came earlier and were able to leave the luggage before check-in time, and explore the city without heavy backpacks.

It would be a nice to have cup of water in the room (it is essential for me).

Cloud One has a great location. The Front Desk staff is warm, welcoming and professional. This was our second time staying at Cloud One.

The rooms are small but well appointed.

There was no water in the room, not even a glass for water, no dental kit. And yet, there was a pile of papers and magazines about how wonderful the hotel was, along with some other advertising. You should have spent that money on a bottle of water. Horrible!

Behave differently since I booked through Booking. When ee checked into the hotel and there were advertisements everywhere stating that one bottle of water was complimentary. Since we did not see any in the room, we mentioned it at the reception. They told us that they do not provide it to guests who booked through Booking, as they prefer reservations made directly with them. I responded that this was not very ethical, and that since they have an agreement with Booking, it is highly inappropriate to treat reservations made through Booking in this way.

I really like the location of this hotel, it felt like I was close to all of the major attractions of Hamburg.Depending of the places you wanted to go it could take from 5,10 to 20 minutes of walking.The staff was nice and friendly,when I checked in,they gave me some advice of the breakfast time to make sure I won't catch the crowded time.I also liked the room as well,it was clean and simple, I requested a room with a street view and that's what I got, and I can tell you 100% it is not noisy, the windows did a good job of keeping the noise outside and not inside.It is a bit pricier,but I would recommend this hotel.Would def. stay here again!

Amazing location and friendly staff! We didn't realize how close we'd be to everything! We didn't get a chance to enjoy the rooftop bar and lobby as much as we would have liked but it looked lovely!
