Very clean, comfy bed (mattress), nice reception
Location, very strong perfume smell
Great location for those who want to go out. Quiet and very clean rooms.
Bed sheets were pretty low quality. One had a hole in it. There is no mirror with a proper light.
Comfortable and spacious room. Shower was great.
No coffee or tea in rooms. A bit noisy at night.
Staff were so nice! The beds were comfy.
The pillowcases were a tad warm, bathroom was teeny but that was it. We didn’t realise how close / in the red light it was but that’s our fault for not researching prior ha. It’s fine though we had no issues
Location
Room far to small for the category and price. To dark in the bath room . With a case in the room impossible to move arround.
Clean, great location and the staff couldn’t do enough to help.
Noise level at the weekend from club next door !

Location bit odd
Location, design and bed
Size of room, I expected more for £120 a night, lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and temperature didn’t go low enough
The staff were so lovely, accommodating and welcoming. The really looked after us, check in and check out was smooth. The breakfast and bar within the hotel is stunning. Lovely food and drinks.
The location threw us off a bit as the street the hotel is on, has some...quirky neighboring businesses. Still, no harm done and didn't affect our stay at all. Depending how you like to enjoy your night life, you will have a great time.
The reception was nice . The room was just ok.
Too much going on around the hotel .
Unfortunately Hotel am Beatles-Platz did not necessarily meet our expectations. As beautiful as, modern, and sharp the hotel design is, I have learned that not all fancy designed properties may not prioritize the little things… none of which were addressed when we reported them after our first night. We spent 3 nights and items remained unresolved… shower doors not closing, shower ventilation not working, to be provided with linen that is hypoallergenic... all of which hotel staff confirm they are aware of these issues. Some sort of detergent choice of the hotel made it extremely uncomfortable to sleep unless I heavily sedated myself with allergy medication. Hypoallergenic should be a priority because it is environmentally friendly and customer comforting. We did find in our research that accommodations are not necessarily “cheap” in Germany. It’s primarily a result of covid, and the war in Ukraine what locals have explained to us. So it is difficult to find a hotel with affordable breakfast included. However, most properties we stayed in for our two weeks of travel included coffee and tea stations in the lobby… not at Hotel am Beatles-Platz. We were told the coffee and tea we need to pay for from their restaurant, which is the same self serve machine as most other hotels offered guests access to. There may have been a misunderstanding because they did not charge us when we checked out. There was a very cute candy station in the lobby, but if you’re diabetic… this isn’t helpful which I wonder again why they offer a fancy candy station over simple coffee/team service. The toiletries were nice. However, the soap dispensers were difficult to use… it was like begging for drops of soap. We were provided with a vanity kit that was empty from day one and I positioned it for the staff yo see, but ignited every day. The body loation was never filled as well.
Location, facilities and cleanliness
Nothing all ok
Location- perfect for reeperbahn Festival.
The room wasnt cleaned well. Q-tips on the floor behind curtains and yellow stains all over the sheets…
Nice modern decor, friendly staff. You can go to the city center easily with metro, it’s only a couple of stations away.
The room could have been cleaned better. In the bathroom and shower there was this sewer smell all the time that was really bad and unpleasant. I found the sink in the room to be very impractical, because you got water all over the floor while washing hands. Would be more convenient to be in the bathroom, now when it’s not, you need to touch the bathroom door all the time without washing your hands first. Also the hotel was right next to a sex bar street. It was loud and restless in the night. There were people using drugs on the street and homeless people lying there. No one mentioned this in the reviews. If I knew this and had made my research better, I would’ve booked the hotel from a different area.
Location, Beatles focus, staff friendliness
Room very small. Also, could not purchase Beatles-focused hotel merchandise, particularly towels. You are losing out on a serious source of revenue and an opportunity to cater to those staying at hotel!
Nothing, as I was unable to stay here because our room and the only other room were both 30 degrees celcius, so we left two hours after our arrival. They do NOT have a functioning air-condition, despite advertising that. The receptionist said that I should contact the manager to ask for my money back which I did, since I had to pay for another hotel. I wrote to the manager immediately that evening. He did not respond until I contacted Booking.com and even then he did not say anything. After two weeks of repeatedly reminding him that I was waiting for a response, and Booking.com contacted him yet again, he offered free cocktails and breakfast next time I stay there which would be never. I don’t even live in Germany. This is simply not a serious establishment. Basically, they stole our money under false pretenses. Avoid it at all cost!

Location. Clean.
I was put in a room with a poor view of a dirty roof and right opposite a bar so had no privacy. I should have asked to change. However the worst thing was they wanted to charge for early check in even though the room was ready. Always poor form in my opinion. If you’re at the hotel early and the room is ready they should let you have it. They wanted about 33% of the nightly rate to check in 90 minutes early. Ridiculous
Breakfast was one of the best ever. Working people from reception to restaurant were so kind and attentive. It was very clean. Room and space was different but I adjusted and found it okay.
