IntercityHotel Hamburg Dammtor

Passable

Yes, I am aware that this may be a low-budget hotel with limited services; however, it is unacceptable to place torn towels in the bathrooms. Additionally, housekeeping is not done daily. You have to go to the reception and request it every day.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a nice and quiet area. We were very happy with our stay and found it easy to get around Hamburg from this location. Appreciated the complimentary coffee pods in the room.

Nothing!

hmmmmm breakfast ok

the room, the bed, the lack of restaurant when it says there is one on the website - i was relying on this after a long day.

Clean rooms an comfyThe matresses werent the best but still fine

The hose for the shower was leaking

Very good location with indoor parking. Good breakfast. Fast check in. Very warm shower.

Double bed is a bit small and not very comfortable.

Great location and hotel staff were excellent.

Beds were small and low to the ground. Breakfast was ok.

Location is convenient. Just few walks to the metro and the public parking facility. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of choices. The room is big and exceed my expectation. Clean and comfort.

May need to optimize the position of the chair for the small desk and the desk lamp. Too easy to kick the chair when walk around the bed....

nice place next to the park

very simple and a bit old hotel, the bads are small and you can hear the people in the corridor

Good breakfast good location

No gym offered

Rooms are nice and clean

Long queue at the reception, and hard bed

Location

Bed very small and not comfy. Breakfast could be better

Everything from the staf to the breakfast and lokation is top nudge not the the luxurious Roms and safety.

Good location, central, a standard business hotel. Friendly and supportive staff, when you ask them.

Missed to provide the promised anti-allergy beds, does not at all respond to any Booking.com-based chat/question. Cleaning is based on opt-in, instead of opt-out. Dirty carpet. Free WiFi only if you sign up for their club. Complicated car park charging process. A cold and uncomfortable breakfast area.

Excellent location. Simple, clean, well designed room. Big window. Big working desk and comfortable chair. Fast smooth check-in.

Nothing to complain about.

Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean

We booked a 4 person(!!) room for 2 people and only received a single (!) room key. On request for a second one we got the excuse of "due to the law we can only hand out a single key per room" which simple isn't true. There is no law that states that hotels are only allowed to hand out one key per room. It was a hassle and we changed hotels after the first night

Location was great and staff were very helpful

The Air Con did not work and it was stuck on heat! This made it impossible to sleep well.

Clean and modern, nice breakfast.

A bit too far from publication station.

Good breakfast. Fantastic view from the room. The Planten un Blumen was near the hotel.

The restaurant was crowded.

The room was a comfortable size, well-suited for a business trip and provided everything I needed. The location was excellent — within easy walking distance of the Messe, the Alster, and the surrounding neighborhoods, with both a train station and subway conveniently close by. Breakfast was perfectly adequate; nothing extraordinary, but it covered the essentials and served its purpose well.

There wasn’t anything I particularly disliked. The only small surprise was that the ironing station was set up in the lobby. It worked fine once I adjusted, though it did mean planning ahead a little — nothing that caused any real inconvenience.
