Pros +
- The room was nice and in a good location.
- Wifi was strong, water was hot, and there is a large radiator heater in the room. Our room was on the ground floor so we didn't have to use the stairs since the lift was broken.
- Over priced room, very disappointed.
Cons -
- no lift, no hot water for 2 days the lobby is in an other building
- I would have appreciated breakfast being included.
- The receptionist argued with me about the wifi and my needing a passcode to log in. She said the wifi didn't need a password, but she didn't know (check-in is done at another hotel). I asked her to ask someone else, which she did, and they gave me the wifi passcode for the other building where I was staying. As others have mentioned multiple times, the area is rough at night, and there is usually someone sitting on the entry stairs, but they don't bother you and move so you can enter and exit.

Over priced room, very disappointed.
On the streets out of the building and surrounding the building, there were people in bad situation, some of those people even sat on the stairs to the front door of the building. The location doesn't feel safe. The elevator was not functioning, we had to climb up the stairs with luggage. The room has no air conditioning, very hot. The kitchen area has no ventilation. The bathroom was not clean. The lighting in the room was poor.
I liked how my room had 2 floors in apartment 5. And beds were comfortable I guess.
We hat to go up with 5 floors of stairs WITH luggages no elevator, the area of the hotel was horrible - there were homeless in front of our door so we couldn’t even go outside at 8pm. Its not very safe, the reception was a few buildings away, what if they came in and slept inside? We couldn’t gone outside but they left later. Except the bedroom the hotel was DIRTY. Appreciate the 2 floors but the second floor was very empty and hot, the dining area was very-empty so maybe more decoration. The balcony didn’t look very safe since the floor was just some thin wood planks with nails-not trustable at ALL.
Close to main train station and walkable to main sites
If was quite cold when we first arrived and took a while to heat up
It was very clean. It was very close to the train station.
It was so cold that within 5 days we just could heat up to the minimum comfort. Probably because there was no heating on, all windows was open when we arrived since who knows. The whole district was awfull. People were angry, lots of times we saw people on high, or worst condition. At one day we just come out from the front door to the street, and at the entrance a couple of people was very busy to get their enjoyment between each other's leg. Shock. It was a shock. We lived in the first ground. The windows are opened to some neighbour's service garden where all day, all night an industrial air conditioner run exactly the height of the window.
cooking factilities in room
dodgy characters on the street - homeless people sleep at front door since no reception or front desk or staff on duty
Location good with direct access to train station and walking to downtown. But, whole area quite dodgy and dirty
But, whole area quite dodgy and dirty. People shouting at night and sleep in the entrance. Room is small for four people. Has no kitchen although in the intro it says all apartments have a kitchenette. A bit misleading.
It has a good size overall and layout
The location was not great. Homeless sleeping on the door and disturbing people in the street (alcoholics, drug addicts, prostitutes, etc). Also we had to carry the luggage by the stairs 5 floors as the lift was not working
Not a good experience especially the location of apartment away in other building 150m away from check in. Also behaviour at check in person not good at all.
Behaviour of check in person was disappointing
Bed was nice
Had to plug kettle in on the floor. There were a lot of keys and tripped over a couple of homeless guys leaving
The cleaning staff is doing a good and proper job, that's pretty much the only positive point
Most of the staff does not speak English and is not really helpful. We have been given a room that is different from the one booked and didn't fit our need, and no one ever replied to us, even by email despite us using all the hotel addresses. We booked the Apartment for 3 people, but the room we have been given was the Apartment for 1 person on the pictures of Booking.com.The hotel itself isn't great : the door buzzers don't work, there is no elevator and you only have one key, so if any of you go out and want to go back, the ones inside the apartment have to go down all the stairs to open the door for them. The kitchen appliances are outdated and the TV is very small, almost hard to use. The car parking option is inconvenient, as you need to ask the staff (who doesn't speak English) to open the door, but most of the time they just hand you the key and tell you to do it yourself. The area is close to the main city point of interests, but at the same time the neighborhood itself isn't good itself, so you are only benefitting from the proximity of the other neighborhoods from a mediocre neighborhood itself.
It was a really nice place to stay at (hotel niu) and the staff was very helpful
Therr was some mismatch so we were sent to a different hotel at a different place.
Room was Clean ill give you that - but thats the only good thing i can say about this place !
DO NOT STAY HERE - Location outside on Street is Junkie Heaven - Dangerous and unsafe!! Its not suitable location for anyone let alone Families!!Apartment Photos on Booking.com did not match up with the actual Room we booked at all - Tired, unrenovated apartment that was not anything like we booked - complained to Hotel Staff where we picked up Key and they could not help us - Simple Do not consider this location / Apartment unless you are looking to score!!
Checkin, checkout, friendliness of staff
Lots of loud discussions and near-fights directly outside the window
Great big apartment for a family. 2 bathrooms.
5th floor and only stairs. Elevator didn't work. But it wasn't that bad, but could have been nice.
It was good to be able to walk places. The beds were fine.
It felt unsafe as soon as you stepped outside. There were people shooting up in the street. The tiles on the bathroom floor were all broken. The carpet was gross. We didn’t sleep with all of the noise outside of our windows.
it was a quite worn out room but at least it was tidy and clean
Very old building with used furniture. We didn’t feel safe at all because there was gangs with men sitting outside the entrance, drinking, smoking and it smelled urine everywhere outside….Also, we did not get a WiFi password and when I tried to get a hold of the reception, we got no answer.
Perfect for friends in group. Comfortable bed and Kitchen with& full Cleanliness and Hygenic.
Parking problem. We didn't find any parking area near Hotel. We had to walk from Hotel to our Car parking area.
