- some hotels have more stars but they are old. this one was new and the cleaning stuff did an excellent job.
- Compact and simple room, it was sufficient for one night stay. Not so far from Hamburg central station, but relatively quiet.
- Ibis never disappoints—nice rooms, practical bunk beds, and perfect for families. Our son loves his space.
Cons -
- The air conditioning is centralize, which only two option you can adjust .since the room is small enough we can’t just adjust how the air /temperature inside.
- Very compact, garage couldn’t fit large car
- The bathroom didn't have a good ventilation system. The area close to the train station can be a bit sketchy at night, but we didn't encounter any real issues.

Modern, clean

The room was clean and comfortable, the location is central to move around the city. The breakfast was good.

Clean and modern. Nice staff.
Close to the central station but still no really easy to find and difficult to walk to if you have luggage. Missing a bit of place to put toiletries. A bit weird distribution, with the toilet in one space the sink in the room and the shower in a 3rd space
The room was small and comfortable as advertised, the location was excellent, and the checkin and checkout processes were smooth. Checkout at noon was also very comfortable.
The staff was very helpful. The location was great!!! 5min walk to the main train station and 10-15 min to the main touristic streets. Special thanks to the staff that was very kind to store my charger that I had forget and picked up on my was back from Amsterdam
Room size.
Location was good
The shower caused problems. The temperature of the water changed all the times. One had to take care not to burn oneself before it was icy cold again. Additionally, the water came out of the shower. We complained three days long but nothing happened. They only promised to do something but didn’t. The room got extremely wet and slippery next to the shower.
I had a spacious room on the uppest level with a great view. And the breakfast was very good too
The bed was comfortable and the room was very cozy!
The shower had a leak to the room floor! I had to use a towel to take the water flowing...
Easy check in and nice breakfast
I requested two adjacent rooms. It was confirmed by msg. Then we received 2 rooms, one at 5th floor the other at 1st.
The room was exactly as expected, having the described eqipments. The room was clean, the bed was great and the shower was wounderful. The location is close to the HBF, about 10min walks with lugagges.
The location is close to the HBF, therefore it is suggested to close the window during the night - if you are sensitive to the surrounding noises.
Room was OK and near to attraction location
Bed was not comfortable and Was not clean.
The hotel is in a good location, super easy to get to from the train station by foot. The room was nice, a bit small but good overall. Staff were nice and helpful :)Breakfast was ok, not the best but ok and basic overall.
- The room had a separated toilet, one of those that the light in it is switches on and off based on motion-detection, and it was a bit frustrating when we wanted to leave that light on while the baby slept and we couldn't switch on any other lights in the room and that light kept on switching off, they should install some bypass switch if someone wants this light on.- I my opinion the room was a bit overpriced, but I guess it's like that in Hamburg (I looked around at other hotels in the area)- They have a sign you can hang on the door to skip cleaning in the morning and they reward you with a free drink if you use it, but they never said how do you get it, so we were in a rush to leave and forgot to ask, I thought they would bring it to the room the next day or something, not too important, but I found it weird that they don't tell you if you should collect it (also what is my proof?) at checkout or they take care of it. oh well..
The location was perfect, it took hardly 5 minutes to get there from the Hauptbahnhof. Check-in was quite easy since it was online as well, we just needed to pick up the keys and pay on location. The bed was comfortable enough, pillow soft. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was one of the best showers we ever had.
We got two twin beds and the beds kept dislocating and moving apart. The place seemed to have pretty thin walls and you can pretty much hear doors of the rooms around you opening and closing in the night. We were also able to feel vibrations when the neighboring room door was closed a bit forcefully. The air conditioning seemed pretty useless, it was quite hot in the night even with the thermostat moved to full cold and it was turned on. The blinds on the single window didn't close fully so it was bright in the morning even with the shade fully pulled down.
Close to the train station
I have stayed in Ibis hotels all over the world, and I have never seen a receptionist closing at 9 pm and going home. Given that it does not say '24h help desk,' but it also does not say 'Help desk available until 9 pm,' either. The person who checked us in did not speak English well and did not look me in the eye even once.
Near the city.
Very small room. The bathroom was poor..
The breakfast,location and service
More storage space for clothes in the room would be nice
