Hotel Preuss im Dammtorpalais

A but old-style small hotel, but very nice. Helpful staff, clean room. It's a bit unique that in this building are in fact 5 hotels, each on separate floor. Very good location, just a 200 m from the train station Hamburg Dammtor.

Nice, comfortable room and big enough for me for one night. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was reasonable - nothing amazing but perfectly okay.

A little bit over-priced for one person. No kettle in the room which was disappointing.

The character of the building was lovely, room was so big with a little balcony .Big corner bath, fridge with drinks and snacks in.Big bed and comfortable Excellent locations and mohos is a must for breakfast very quaint location, tree lined streets

The location was really convenient as I was attending a conference close to the hotel; the rooms were clean and well taken care of; The view from the room was full of greenery and felt nice. Decent amount of lighting in the room I stayed at.

The amenities were really minimal. No iron or ironing board (you had to request one but the times when I needed it was never appropriate to ask e.g. after midnight/ very early morning).not enough cleaning products (especially shampoo) provided by the hotel.The bed was not that comfy and the overall usable room space was small.

Breakfast was healthy and good. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious for the price we paid in a city like Hamburg. The hotel seems to be part of an old palace now modified for hosting people. The building carries the ancient palatial architecture.

Taxi service in Hamburg was very disappointing. We were traveling with a baby and many taxi drivers refused to take us because we didn't have a baby chair. There was a slight difficulty checking in. The reception of the Hotel was closed and nobody came when we rang the bell. Finally we had to call them on the phone to let us in.

Great value for money at the right location! Spacious room in classical building. The breakfast was simple, but good.

Short walk from the the Exhibition conference centre, Hotel was clean and tidy and had character. From arriving felt very relaxed.

Good location, close to stations and walking distance to centre of Hamburg and parks.

Wasn't aware that the building housed a number of different hotels - so felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.

The staff was very friendly and close, it almost felt like a family. They greeted while going out and coming in. It felt like a perfect home for the Marathon. Everything was intact.

The facilities were used but in a good condition.

Great clean hotel with very helpful and kind stuff in a great location. My room was nice, shower pressure great.
