Pros +
- The ONLY positive things were the proximity to the HBF and the breakfast. Don't let saving a few Euros override safety!
- The location is great being close to the train station but the street that it’s in and the area is very populated by drug dealers and seedy looking characters. This is not the Hotel‘s fault, but I was not aware that I was going to be in a street that I would have to be cautious of walking down to get to the hotel .
- Close to the station
Cons -
- The constant yelling and screaming on the street was disgusting. It didn't end until 6am. The 2nd night we were awakened by the fire alarm because of someone smoking. The worst part of that was that both after hour contact numbers left on the office door wernt unanswered. Not a very safe situation.
- The Wi-Fi in the hotel was so bad we weren’t able to get much done at all
- The room smelled of smoke. The bathroom lacks a vent, of course it smells of mold.

Close to the station
The room smelled of smoke. The bathroom lacks a vent, of course it smells of mold.
nice staff in the morning
not so cosy, and some minor problems with lamps and sink.
Proximity to the main station stationBreakfast included (all basics provided)Friendly staffThe room was clean and had all necessary thingsA baby cot was provided on request
Because of the main train station nearby, it's a dodgy area with strange people hanging around If the hotel is fully booked, the breakfast area can get pretty busy and one might not get a table immediately
Close proximity to Hamburg Hbf. Reasonable breakfast included. Clean and modern bathroom.
The neighbourhood around the station and the hotel was untidy and didn’t feel as safe as some other areas that we have stayed. We didn’t realise that there was a small lift (poor signage) to the 3rd floor and we had to carry our bags up four flights of stairs to our room. The bed was extremely hard and the pillows were tiny.
Good location, Very good staff
No variety in breakfast
Central location and good price.
Separate bathroom with separate WC and separate shower that did not have a lockable doors.
It is very centralized, the room fits us very well, and the beds were comfortable. We could easily access restaurants, the main station and other attractions in the vicinity. The place is in a “shady” street, for those who are familiar with Hamburg; but nothing has happened to us and we felt safe to leave during late evening (at the main station there is a police office station as well as down the side street). Finally, the staff were cordial and very friendly. They assisted us in whatever and answered all the questions either in English or German.
1 - The small mini-bar (fridge) had a very bad smell. Then we couldn’t used it.2 - There was a single and not so powerful fan for the entire room, which didn’t help so much during the hots days.3 - Due to the stairs in front of the building, it is difficult to easily access the hotel lobby with luggage, stroller or a wheel chair. Luckily the room we stayed in was on the ground floor.
Very convenient location in the city centre, a very clean and quiet small hotel
Good location, great communication with staff and delicious breakfast)
The position is very close to the Hamburg Hbf train station, so very comfortable. The staff is super available and kind, breakfast was very good. Rooms are okay, simple and essential. Cleaning service must be improved, but in general it was okay. For one/two nights is a good solution, and the price is competitive.
Cleaning services and elevator not available during the night. No air conditioning in the rooms.
Very close to the HBF. Easy and Cheap
St Georg is a little rough area. But it feels safe if You act smart.
Location, friendly and helpful staff.
My room is a bit too small.
The rooms were spacious and had the basic amenities. Location is close to the main train station.
The windows really do not block out any sound. It is as if you were trying to sleep on a really loud street. If you are a heavy sleeper and you don't mind noise, then ok. I personally found it very difficult to sleep in those conditions.
Strategic location, nice breakfast, clean room, humble staff
This was a fantastic room close to the railway station, yet quite as an empty church. Very friendly and helpful staff who accommodated our needs and requests happily. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. It was a perfect place to spend the night on our day in Hamburg with all our luggage.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, 5 min walk from the central railway station. The room is clean and quiet. It has tea facilities. The personnel are very friendly. You can leave your luggage before or after the stay. The breakfast is good, tea/coffee, cheese, sausage, müsli, boiled eggs, jam, buns and so on.
It's a small family run type hotel. Rooms are basic, not very soundproof. The area outside is full of strange people. No view. I saw a mouse on the ground floor in the corridor near the reception. A bit overpriced, but it is Hamburg.
Only the location
It could me better cleaned. It’s not a nice building. The carpet is really dirty. I don’t recomend this hotel
